He's great at making his partner look amazing, and at making dances that are compelling in their different shapes and feel. I noticed that quality before, week to week, but it really stood out last night with the float and grace of the AS and then the earthy Paso. For me there was no error in the Paso, only the completion of the move. Don't think symmetry was intended.
He seems deeply committed to the discipline and the tradition without ever being too strict and serious. The dream partner, I'd say.
I don't get any sense of romance brewing between Pasha and Chelsee, but rather a genuine friendship and dedication to the training (phone notwithstanding).
Hope he's back next year. He's made SCD for me this year (not that I've watched it before

). It doesn't hurt that he looks so shaggable, and carries himself with good grace and dignity.
