Robbie is dancing with Katia on the Tour

Robbie will be dancing with Katia on the SCD Tour, as Ola is not doing it. Presumably this means that James will not be on the Tour either.

Is this a pointer that the Jordans will not be part of SCD next year? I think that maybe the SCD power that be have reached the end of the road with James.

Is it possible James would do the Tour without Ola? Genuine question,

Didn't help himself with his remark that Craig was "taking it out on Alex as he didn't like him". I'm fine with a pantomine bad boy if that's what some folks want but I found that petualant nonsense.

James confirmed on Twitter some time ago that he and Ola had not been asked to do the tour this year.

Thanks for that CF.

Strangely enough I've warmed slightly to James this year. Hope that this is not the end for the Jordans.

There was quite a long thread on this a few weeks ago where someone posted that James was upset as he had tweeted that he was told by e-mail (or could have been text) that they weren't needed on the tour this year.

The thread must be a few pages back now

Might it be that the non-EU dancers have been given priority on the tour for visa purposes? Work visas are complex things and as Strictly is only on for 4 months, stretching their employment to 6 months may help extend their visas?

I thought Robbie is dancing with Natalie on the tour and Katya with Mark Foster?

I think Natalie is the taller of the two girls, so I assumed she would be dancing with Mark. I'm not sure how tall Robbie is though.

The official tour Twitter page had confirmed it was Mark & Katya and Robbie & Natalie, but hopefully they've changed it because the heights are too different.

Robbie was tweeting last night that he was dancing with Katya although originally it was announced that he was dancing with Natalie. Mark Foster was tweeting a few weeks ago to Katya that they should get together as they were paired on the tour. Seems as if the Strictly Live Tour folk have finally seen sense as Natalie in heels would be too tall for Robbie but a much better height for Mark.

James & Ola were told via e-mail some time ago that they weren't wanted for this tour, as was Stuart Holdham, the warm up guy. Seems as if they're trying to save money for this tour! The only spare pro is Ian Waite as there are only 7 celebs (unless they persuade Zoe to do it). At least it means we get to see Ian and Natalie dancing together who are just wonderful!!!

Ian and Natalie are also doing the choreography for the pro dances.

I wonder how much Robbie will improve with katya I always felt Ola gave up a little too soon on trying to make Robbie a good dancer

For me he had the beginnings of a good ballroom dancer but his latin was weaker

Ola I think went for the ditraction FUN FUN fun things in latin too soon and I suspect he may have got on better with Katya from the beginning
