A second win for McFly in a month?

Who else thinks Harry will win this? It's quite an achievement to have 2 members of a band win the shows that they are in, the same month!

I'm supporting Harry, and no, I am not a McFly fan.

You stirrer! lol.

Lets hope Mr bland is 2nd behind the lovely Chelsee.

I truly believe it will depend on the dances on the night itself. Either one could be the winner. I cant see a definite this year as they both have equally strong points. Judging by the DS polls Chelsee is way more popular on this site, which so far over the years been a strong indicator...

We'l just have to see

Think you are probably right OP - I would like Chelsee to win though as a) I find her more interesting and b) I think she is the better dancer (although it's a matter of opinion and it's hard to judge between two dancers when one is male and the other female) - as long as Alex isn't in the last 3 then the final will be a show worth watching!

I'm not sure how strong the McFly fanbase really is anymore. I'm sure they have a fair share of diehards, but their last album didn't do anywhere near as well as the previous one.

Without McFly fans maybe Mark would have won I'm A Sleb, given there was a few per cent in it. Dougie was bland, inoffensive and nice - as are almost all British RTV winners.

Come on the McFly 'army'. You done it for Dougie, now do it for the lovely Harry

He has improved along with Alex the most.

Harry and Aliona for the win

Danny didn't win Popstar to Operastar, and Chelsee seems to have the momentum in terms of public support like Kara did last year.

I do want Harry and Aliona to win though.

I feel sorry for Harry in a way, because there is so much extra pressure from the media after Dougie's win (even Tess mentioned it on Strictly!) and so if he loses it'll be a shame - because it would be quite an achievement for the band.

Well, I put a bet on Dougie and a bet on Harry, one down, one to go!

It wouldn't really be in a month. I don't think you can really compare the two. Winning SCD takes more than just frolicking in the jungle

You can imagine the photos in the papers of the King and 'Queen' on their thrones!

Indeed - a PR achievement for a group that's drifted out of the public eye. McFly's chart placings have been slipping and their audience maturing and moving on - so what better way of reminding consumers who they are than by placing two members in top-rating reality series?

I hope so, he started as an absolute beginner and not a stage school "graduate" so he should win.

I love Chelsee and I suspect that she will probably win the glitter ball, but Harry for me has been an absolute revelation during his stint on Strictly! His dancing style is precise, commanding, and bursting with barely restrained sexuality! If I’m honest, I can understand why he’s not everybody’s cup of tea...he’s not one for overt emotional displays or OTT performances (unlike certain others…) and he has a thoughtful, reserved manner which has lead to him being criticised as ‘dull’. But for me, these are all part of his charm. He doesn’t need to oversell or grin like an idiot to show that he loves to dance. With Harry, it’s all in the eyes. He just lights up when he is moving across the floor! It’s really quite wonderful to watch him as he completely looses himself in the moment...every fibre in his body was obviously made to dance! Regardless of what happens in the final, I hope that he continues to dance, because he has a rare gift and it would be a real shame to waste.

His bandmate Tom can drum as well as play his usual guitar, would be funny if he took his place once in a while so that Harry could jump up and dance at McFly gigs!
