Amy Winehouse - Lioness Hidden Treasures

I know she's not alive to comment but her previous albums were called

Frank

Back To Black

and her third album is called

Lioness Hidden Treasures

I dunno, sounds a bit cheesy. Doesn't really suit her style of music. Lioness Hidden Treasures sounds more like a track from a Walt Disney soundtrack!

Not sure the title goes with her music or how she wanted to be remembered. Lioness doesn't really have any connection with her jazz style of pop music.

Well it isn't her third album though
It is actually a compilation album

The word "Lioness" was very meaningful to her from her Grandmother, plus she named her Record Label Lioness Records so it wasn't a name plucked out of thin air.

As little monster pointed out, the word "lioness" meant a lot to her, so she would be happy about that, but the second part of the title ("hidden treasures") is a bit cheesy.But anyway, I don't think Amy really cared about titles THAT much and besides, I don't even think she would approve the release of the album itself, so whether she would approve the title or not seems like nothing but a small detail

When I first heard the name of the album I thought

"Lion King"

I quite like it, it's not like Frank or Back To Black which would have been nice aswell.
I'm more interested in the songs rather than the title

i love the name lioness, but maybe the hidden treasures part was a bit of a misake , however without it some people may have thought it was a brand new third album, the hidden treasures add on help make it clear that it's merely a compilation of assorted unreleased tracks. i think it's a fine name all in all.
