Mostly right, ZOMG is simply Oh My God with an additional Z showing you were so excited about typing you got it wrong. On internet gaming forums it's usually typed ZMOG though
However, pwn doesn't equal own in the same way, it's usually used in a negative sense and implies the originator of the statement got one over on the pwn-ee rather than simply being a mistype ie you got pwned in that last PvP (person versus person for those who don't play multi player games) encounter or "I pwned you".

A more equivalent mistype from the gaming world would be teh where the is incorrectly typed because you're doing something too quickly

ETA: Edited to add/Edit to Add.

^^ or /\/\ means this above and is usually quoted when the person you're agreeing with has posted directly before you.

There was a very useful sticky thread on the old BBC forums where we collated all the abbreviations usually used on the internet in discussion groups. Sadly there doesn't seem to be an equivalent over here.

No because Edit simply means you've edited your original post. ETA means you've ADDED something to the post, the two things are different.
ADDED

Meh just means 'can't be bothered', or 'I don't care'. I think.
Yep, meh is just the sound you make when you can't really be bothered or don't give a damn. It's my OH's permanent state of mind!

The most common used abbreviations or short forms on internet forums are usually:

IMO/IMHO - in my opinion/in my humble opinion
ITA - I totally agree
BTW - by the way
TBH - to be honest
IIRC - if I recall correctly
AFAIK = as far as I know
LOL - laughing out loud
ZOMG/ZMOG - an excited Oh My God where they've hit the Z instead of the shift key
TEH - the simply typed too fast and the letters misplaced
BIB - bit in bold
^^ - I agree with the poster above me, can be used with a quote if you're not posting immediately after the person you're agreeing with
OTOH - on the other hand
OP - original poster or original post
AFK - away from keyboard (not really used outside of gaming/gaming forums)
ROFL - roll on the floor laughing
TTFN - ta ta for now
BRB - be right back (another gaming expression)
BBIAB - be back in a bit
CP - cross posted
IBTD - I beg to differ
IBTL - in before the lock (when you know a thread is going to get shut down)
FYI - for your information
FWIW - for what it's worth
WIP - work in progress
ATM - at the moment
NSFW - not suitable for work
HTH - hope this helps
J/K - joke or joking
WUM - wind up merchant
TROLL - doesn't stand for anything but generally held to be a person posting deliberately to start a fight, comes from "trolling" which is another gaming phrase and began with people hanging around in games waiting to deliberately grief someone.
LMK - let me know
TPTB - the powers that be
BG - big grin
VBG - very big grin
NP - no problem
TMI - too much information
TIA - thanks in advance

And there's also tl;dr - which means too long, didn't read, generally posted by people who are ********s (in my experience anyways).

A lot of these you probably won't see on the SCD forums as they're more specifically related to gaming fora but I thought I'd stick them down while I was at it.

TDMA isn't an abbreviation I've seen used on any internet forums that I post regularly on.

I've honestly forgotten what half those letters stand for. And I typed them.

Side effect of acronym abuse = amnesia! Could be quite helpful after certain debauched moments, but I need my full memory today.

I say if a relevant acronym explanation doesn't turn up on the first page of a google search, then it's too obscure for forum use. Bing does not qualify.
