No sour grapes but Holly should have been a finalist

There was at least one poorer dancer going through

I think Holly has done well out of this. It'll be interesting to see what she does next in her career after this, whether she goes back to acting, or tries to give her pop career another go.

Holly was such a refreshing contestant, so real, such a dry sense of humour, screwed up sometimes but when she was good, she was brilliant - loved her.

When the line-up for this year's Strictly was announced I was convinced I was going to loathe Holly Valance. I fully expected her to be a bit of a diva, but she turned out to be the complete opposite -- a lovely non-gushy down-to-earth girl with a great sense of humour. I really like her.

Holly and Artem were a great partnership -- their Swan Lake routine was absolutely sublime, and will forever be one of my favourite dances on Strictly. Gutted that they didn't make the final.

Me too. I don't think she was a great dancer but I thought her down to earth attitude (it's only a game show!) was very refreshing and she did some interesting routines (with Artem's help!). She is a very beautiful woman, graceful and gracious.

Holly has a great sense of humour, I have to say she's been one my favourite celebs ever on the show, simply because she seems like a normal, down-to-earth person. I'm sorry she didn't make the final, but that's just the way it goes sometimes. I just hope this isn't the last we see of her.

Yours was one hell of a paso doble, Holly, then one hell of an Argentine Tango.
Very well played indeed.

Me too, I was all revved up to hate her but I've really enjoyed watching her, love her attitude and humour and hoped she'd get the chance to reprise Swan Lake.

Funny how the two Aussies in the contest have been so diametrically opposite to each other.

I have loved "getting to know" Holly. She is so dry - utterly hilarious at times.
Alex turned out to be very funny too - I'd never have known from the One Show.

Love Holly and her sense of humour on twitter and ITT is brilliant! Will miss her, her paso was one of the highlights of series for me.

Being a lifelong watcher of Neighbours I was already a fan of Holly, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how normal she is. What a great girl, a little shy, very humble, a brilliant sense of humour and a classy dancer.

Very sad to see her go tonight. I hope this kicks starts her show business career.

Oh and the swan lake dance was my all time favourite dance of any series, kudos to Artem for the inspired choreography.

Holly was lovely and genuine. Much preferred her to Alex who I found boring and a little whiny

Holly has come across brilliantly from what I've seen on ITT and the main show. Along with Chelsee, I think she has definitely benefitted most from the whole experience and seems very humble and genuine. Good luck to her in whatever she chooses to do now - I think she has opened a lot of doors for herself.

With a bit more time and work Holly could've been a great dancer, very graceful. She was also good fun, but having seen her on Bo in the USA i knew that anyway.

What are you going to do with your life now Alex has gone? You are absolutely obsessed with criticizing her even when the thread has very little to do with her.

Boring and a little whiny are apt adjectives - but not for Alex -for you my friend.

You got to dance with one of the show's better choreographers and you did a good job, girl.
People who ask for more do not live in your skin.

Well done!

And that "Swan Lake" is going to be a YouTube classic.
