Rules Last year-

The Final: One unlearned dance from weeks 1–8, highest scoring dance of the series, favourite dance of the series, & Showdance

Based on this

Chelsee- Paso, Showdance V.Waltz/ Rumba ????
Harry - Quickstep/Charleston/V.Waltz, Showdance & A.Smooth/ Paso (if allowed) ????
Jason - A.Tango, Showdance, Salsa/ Waltz


Ideally I'd like them to go back to favorite Latin and Ballroom.

I'm guessing the AS for Harry, as Aliona was thinking of putting some "drumming" choreography into a paso, and she put it into the QS instead

If Harry is doing a paso, there will be cries of "cheat" on this forum

I really want to see a Paso from him at this stage, though. I don't care about him having done it on the CIN Strictly! I think you're right about him getting the AS

Harry had 5 days training in the Paso last year with Ola and he wasn't that good at the end of it, but good enough to win a 2 horse race.
He was penalised a weeks training this year, but I still think they wont let Harry have a choice of dances, so he will be penalised again.

To be honest I think it's a better choice as his Latin isn't that great.

His dancing has been improving, and his Rumba was pretty good. You never know with Aliona, she may have been able to get a good Paso from him.

I wouldn't be surprised if they scrapped the top scoring dance rule this year after the bucketfulls of tens in the semi-final.

I think the big problem for him was the hip action in the Samba and Salsa - the Paso is quite different from them.

i would love to each finalist redo a dance from the first couple of weeks, to show their improvement.

then chelsee could dance that fab salsa again

With regards to the chosing one ballroom one Latin- if my memory serves me correctly- Kara and Matt split ballroom and Latin between their dances:

Kara: Waltz, American Smooth, Rumba
Matt: Viennese Waltz, Samba, Paso
Pam: Viennese Waltz, (would have done) Argentine Tango, (it escapes me which Latin dance they chose for their favourite... I think it was Salsa)

So maybe Harry, if he HAS to do AS for his unlearnt, will take either Charleston as his highest scoring or chose one as his favourite (I suspect his Grease style Jive because of him wanting to play Danny)

Chelsee will obvs get Paso for her highest, maybe Viennese Waltz for unlearned and Quickstep for fave?

Jason will obvs get A Tango for best, maybe Salsa for unlearned and his Priscilla Tango as his fave?

All speculative obviously, but that would seem a way of splitting the ballroom and Latin...

Could be I'd imagine they will want the Latin Ballroom split. Harry and Jason have 4 point average higher in their Ballroom to Latin which creates an issue. If they can use the new dance to fill the void it would help. Also the issue is their favorites/ best could all be repeats of semi final dances (which would be dull)

If forced to do one learnt ballroom and Latin already they may go with.

Chelsee - Quickstep, Jive SD Rumba

Jason - A.Tango, Charleston SD Waltz

Also keeps them all different

Harry definitely has a wider choice than chelsea and Jason cause he has 3 highest scoring dances ( quickstep, VW and charleston) , chelsee has to stick to her paso ( which was not that great IMO and definitely didn't deserve a 40) and jason the AT

As said depending if there is an unwritten rule that they must pick one Latin and Ballroom of the previous dances within the favorite highest scoring they are restricted. Harry's best Latin was Charleston joint best ballroom V.Waltz, Chelsee's best Paso, Jason's best dance A.Tango. All from the semi final. This is where the problem stems. It could mean we will get 3 dances already danced against each other repeated one week later, hardly compelling viewing.

It‘s not confirmed yet but many people are posting on other similar forums that the couples are “skipping“ a dance for the final , perhaps they won‘t be dancing their highest scoring dances for the final this year after all ...

Aliona's tweeted about choreographing an AS, rock and roll show dance. Not sure if she forgot the comma between rock and roll and show dance but I hope she has. Seeing as tess said they were doing 4 dances This would mean 3 new dances and a revisit

In past years they haven't been able to do the semi final dances again in the final.

That would mean no paso for Chelsee, AT for Jason or Charleston for Harry....

Kara did her Rumba from the Semis in the final.

I still think they will pass up on a dance, kinda of confirmed by Aliona she isn't looking at doing a Paso. This would suggest two new dances and two repeated like last year.

Though they didn't do dances from the semi final before, they did last year with Kara.

I'd love to see Pasha as Shrek again, but don't think it will happen.

They could just use the ears. Though it was a gimmick the gimmick wasn't bigger than the jive they did, so I think it would be viable to do again.
