dvd/home cinema relacement

i have a LG home cinema (all in one) with six speakers. it is used for watching dvd's, connected to sky hd and connected via scart for xbox.

the dvd player has stopped working and am looking for a cheap all in one to connect to my speakers and carry on enjoying. dont want to pay for new speakers cos i have the upright one's and like the look of them.

if anyone can recommend something for me it would be greatly appreciated

Short of looking on eBay or the small ads in the paper for a unit that someone has destroyed the speakers on you are unlikely to find just the player/amp unit. 99.99999999% of all in one systems come with speakers.

That is one reason I would not recommend anyone buy one. If something breaks then you have to chuck the whole lot away and start again in most instances. With separates you just replace the broken bit.

So I rather think you may have to buy a complete new system.

It's always worth asking manufacturers foradvice as its in their interest to keep customers' trust in the brand.
