She never had a chance of winning! Prob disappear in a year, two years tips! She didnt have massive support encr her voting results! She only won two weeks in the voting when she was voted back in and then the week following bottom two!

It's interesting that Amelia could bounce around so much between topping the vote and being in the bottom two that week.

Also the fact Janet had such an early advantage goes to show they really can elevate anybody they choose. She was equally as bad as Frankie.

The winning single must have been chosen early on or else Amelia was seen as an upgrade when Janet faltered.

I think it might have been a credibility gap too far if a reinstated contestant had won after an abbreviated campaign however deserving she was after the injustice of her elimination. Even still the sense of the victory going to a gerrymandered in house group hardly resolves the general whiff of jury rigged stage management.

Janet smoked the others two, Amelia smoked the others when she came back, LM only won when Cowell and Tabloids got behind her and the judges started manipulating.

The results show she should stick to ballads.

Amelia can have few complaints - brought back weeks after she was sent home and given two pimp last slots in her first 3 weeks which gave her a welcome back boost.

If any one was shafted it was Janet - 7 weeks never singing in the last 3, negative criticism (before she forgot the words), and VTs suggesting she was difficult. Despite that she topped the vote the first 4 weeks and was second when Amelia came back. But eventually the negative vibes she must have felt got to her.

Amelia was beaten fair and square in the public vote - so no complaints really!

If only she was there from beginning, she clearly picked up votes from the float voters (topped the vote with show must go on and china in your hands) but didn't have the fan base to carry to the end because of the 5 missing weeks.

Exactly! Amelia also had the Pimp Slot in the final! If they'd wanted to shaft her, they'd have put her on first and had her singing The Lonely Goatheard, accompanied by an army of dancers wearing leiderhosen and a herd of real goats!
