personally I am looking forward to seeing what kristina has to offer with pasha coming a close second

as for aliona after her attempt last year I am slightly worried I think harry might come unstuck in the showdance

Pasha and Chelsee. I hope Aliona continues with her 'toned down' choreography or she'll lose it for Harry. I think the Showdance will win the competition this year.

Judging by what we've seen I think it would be good if Aliona did a Jive style showdance. What he did in the Swingathon was excellent - making an energetic fun routine like that could win it for them if it went well. But then again after 3 other dances it might be too much.

I've already seen Aliona's showdances with Harry.

Can't wait to see Pasha's showdance!

Also Kristina, she is an amazing choreographer.I think she is Pasha's toughest opponent in terms of choreography in the finale.

BIB I agree I think pasha has done a great job with his choreography this year but so has kristina I think these two will do great showdances

Aliona will as well but I hope she has learned from last years showdance as if they mess it up they could lose the crown as this dance imo decides the winner

so all the pros have to be smart in what they do with their choreography

Can't decide between Aliona and Pasha. Aliona is a fruitcake and could come out with anything, which could be amazing or complete and utter s**t. Maybe she could put a giant oven in the middle of the floor and strap a doll to harry's chest and do a highlights of s**t showdances routine (maybe a dead body would be more aliona's style though). Pasha has done some lovely routines but never anything awesome, now Holly's out he should get Artem to choreograph

Kristina should be good at the Showdance. She is a great showdancer herself and could make it look good as Jason is great at performing (maybe not so good at dancing).

Chelsee is good at latin and learns fast. I dont think she has any weaknesses, so Pasha has a lot of freedom to choreograph what he wants.

Aliona has hopefully learnt from last year and knows Harry's strengths and weaknesses now. He is very good at some things but some of them dont suit a showdance, so I think Aliona has the least scope to come up with something very 'showy'.

Harry's and Aliona's showdance - I'm hoping it will be something fun, and will prevent him showing the one fault I can see, which is to sometimes look too serious, especially in ballroom. When he dances more light hearted routines, such as the jive and the Charleston, he is so more much relaxed and is a joy to watch.

I think they had the afront to call them the Waltz, Tango, and Jive...

Kristina is the one who can make a great show dance, because she has more experience than Pasha & Aliona. And she produce the tango chacha so I think she the one who is going to blow us away.

I would love Pasha to come with a great show dance, but not sure, because if his aiming to younger viewers may go to hip hop road hopefully not.
Aliona not sure, she also can aim to younger viewers & because Harry is with An Rock Band, she might go in that direction.

I'm not a fan of showdances generally, but if Harry & Aliona are doing rock'n'roll I might make an exception this year - so long as they can do it right on the night. Despite all the favouritism on the boards it's wide open this year so it could make a big difference to the final vote.

Im not sure I won't be hiding behind the sofa when Kristina and Jason do their showdance if their Hanibal/Psycho AT was anything to go by....

I think the other two pros will come up with something excellent. I have a feeling that Harry will put a dampner on Aliona if she comes up with crazy "batshit" ideas. I like the idea of a rock n roll showdance.

I just hope that none of the pros decide to go down the bacofoil route....

For the person that said Pasha needs Artem to choreograph.....much as though I love Artem, Pasha should do fine on his own....as far as I am concerned he hasnt put a foot wrong choreographing for Chelsee (apart from the floor slide thing in the foxtrot). Artem is great but I am not convinced that Kara's showdance was going to blow me away even if she hadnt hurt her arm.

Partially it's more grounded and more in hold. They don't have to syncopate with each other throughout. Has a bit swing in the legs

I've always found Rock n roll on such shows to be quite dull

I can't wait to see what Kristina would do with a showdance. I think she's one of the best choreographers on the show, so I think it will be amazing. I hope Jason will do it justice.

I think Pasha's cheoreography has been great too - lots of content yet showy at the same time. His QS has been my favourite dance of the series, but I'm not too sure what to expect with a 'funky' dance. I just hope it doesn't incorporate any of the chicken moves we've seen on ITT

I'm torn with Aliona. Part of me wants to see her let loose because the resulting hot-mess could be epic. Dare I say, it could be another iconic puppet-dance of doom? But then Harry deserves so much better, so I hope she does something more understated. Her VW was lovely. Either way, I'll been watching through my fingers. You just don't know with Aliona.

i think both Aliona and Kristina's will have plenty of ME ME ME kind of poses and lifts

while Pasha will show Chelsee's abilities to dance

Just read in other thread that Aliona is going to do a rock and roll showdance. Well, it's going to be Grease Lightening in Steroid all over again, isn't it?

Last year she just make Matt Baker flip and flip and flip, and when he flipped again in his showdance I just went "eh, so what?"

This year we see her making Harry do those rock-and-roll inspired non-jive jive of his Grease Lightening, with his chest exposed, I am sure the showdance would be similar.
