My award goes to Mel B's "Hot".... Only one decent song on the whole album...the rest a crime against music...

Hooray For Boobies - The Bloodhound Gang

They had one really good song (The Bad Touch) which was a a hit, but the rest of the album is immature pathetic crap.

Final Straw - Snow Patrol.

I didn't mind one of their songs so I bought the album and, after listening to it a couple of times, promptly returned it.

How can you say that with tracks like Changes, Life on Mars, Pretty Things, Andy Warhol, Queen Bitch & Bewlay Brothers

Gotta Get Through This - Daniel Bedingfield
I bought this because I liked If You're Not the One (I still do) but the other tracks were utter tripe. Sold it to the 2nd Hand store for the princely sum of a quid!

The cowboy albums I bought my mum - my mum likes Johnny Cash and Kenny Rogers - I seen a country CD completion which had about 8 CDs in - I thought my mum would like it (I am very niave when it comes to country and western music) I never checked the index properly and the music on the CDs turned out to a mixture of line/country dancing dating back to the 1930s- something my mum is definately not in to. Aparantely she only likes a few known stars. First time my mother threatend to throw something at me.

Eminem Is Back, Eminem. Had it been called Eminem and Guests I might not have bought it. As it is he sings alone on track one and seems to do just cameo vocals on the other 10. Now I know why it wasn't plugged as an 'official' Eminem album. Seems to be simply a lazy excuse to promote unknown/ not well known bands probably signed to his label.

To be honest I agree with you there...It was a very poor album with that song and his other ballad "I'm Never Gonna Leave Your Side" (I got a later edition)...

I could have bought the single for 49p in a clearence sale instead..would have saved me 10.50...

Grateful Dead - infrared roses

i usually love their stuff but this was just a load of noise, not that i dislike noise if it's done right (e.g. Merzbow)

To my Eternal shame

Alannah Myles

I loved 'Black Velvet' at the time, but the rest of it is lame poodle rock and she sounds like Bonnie Tyler on Helium on every other track (note - this is NOT a good thing)

I agree. Even if you don't particularly like Snow Patrol, there is no way you can argue that it is the worst album ever.

"Neither fish nor flesh" - Terence Trent-Derby has to be one of the worst 2nd albums ever. After the success of "Introducing The Hardline", he releases what can only be described as an expensive drinks coaster.

I reckon every 2nd hand music store in the world has at least one copy of it.
