I hope we see all the showdances (not that I am a great fan of them generally) but it seems only fair when there are 3 of them in the final and the announcer says 'dancing freestyle to win your votes' or something similar so it seems unfair if one couple dont get the chance.

All three did their showdance last year in the first part but thats the first year its been that way.

Bruno made a mistake, I think he meant to say that the showdance was one of the new dances that they do. So there are 4 in total: highest scoring, favourite, new dance (of the two remaining unlearned dances), and showdance.

I must say that Im realy, really surprised by this choice and I hope Pasha knows what he is doing.I trust his judgement but still rumba .I thought he was going to pick the VW.

Thank goodness, otherwise people are going to perceive the judges overscoring with a perfect 40 for their VW and conversely and collectively moan about Harry not getting it in the semi-final. I think it's a masterstroke of genius on Pasha's part!

I would rather they score well (but not perfect 40) for their rumba. Let Harry get all the perfect scores for the finals. Then we'll see if people still moan and bitch about him being undermarked.

The scores wont matter though they are only for guidance....its all down to the public vote in the final....I doubt Chelsee doing a Rumba would sway many voters one way or another at this stage to be honest.

Haha nopes, to be honest I never thought anything of that sort was going on until Saturday night - Pasha kept giving her little looks and whispering in her ear (this was just after their 40), it was something about his expression that made me think "hang on, could there be something more?"

If Chelsee doesn't get perfect marks in the final there will be moans about her being undermarked - that's just Strictly in the final stages.

The only way it may is if it is a good Rumba as nearly all of them have been crap this year & it's a dance they could mark their territory on. They'd also know the other 2 wouldn't pick it.

I think this is a huge gamble on Pasha's part and like SCD-O said ,maybe a stroke of genius lets hope that this risk pay off.

Think you could be right with those three. Loved that Charleston from Chelsee and Pasha. It isn't the one that people seem to talk about but I loved the whole routine. Harry's QS went down a storm and Jason should give that jive another go - without Wembley nerves it could be terrific.

Does anyone know if they confer over choices? I mean, if Aliona picks QS, would that prevent Pasha picking it too??

Edit: just thought... If Chels does jive again they could have a real donkey since it's off season at B'pool
