Think you could be right with those three. Loved that Charleston from Chelsee and Pasha. It isn't the one that people seem to talk about but I loved the whole routine. Harry's QS went down a storm and Jason should give that jive another go - without Wembley nerves it could be terrific.

Does anyone know if they confer over choices? I mean, if Aliona picks QS, would that prevent Pasha picking it too??
Wouldn't think the pros will mind depend of the producers want variety.

Just wanted to add: it's been confirmed that we will see all three couples do their showdance in the first half of the show.

Just to add how do you know that Pasha chose the Rumba for Chelsea and Kristina chose salsa for Jason? Maybe they were told to do these dances by TPTB? I should imagine that the producers would want some balance in the choice of dances so maybe the pros didn't have much say in the matter. Just wondering as seems an odd choice for both celebs to have picked these dances

I thought that at this stage of the competition, the pros would have a say in what they want to choose from their remaining dances

Probably also based on what they want to dance from the past. Also both have done one version of the Waltz but not it's oppo, that way they aren't dropping anything too major.

If Jason has to waltz or foxtrot he will be stone third in performance
Lacks floor covering range and any musical/attractive top body movement (sway etc) to compete with the other two

I hope so too. Please let Harry do his QS again! I simply loved it.

And please please let Chelsee do the Charleston again. They are so cute in it.

And please please please let Jason dance his jive again, sans mistakes. I think he'll be fabulous the second time round!
I loved the charleston too BUT if they do it then I hope she ditches the coat at the beginning....I thought that didnt work so well.

Good I am really happy about that....I think in previous years (before series 8) that its been unfair on the 3rd placed couple not to do their showdance for real when they have worked so hard on it....good, bad or bacofoil I think they deserve to show us it.

Except Pasha is going to do a disco-y showdance. Yuck! I hate disco-y dances. I disliked intensely Alesha's disco-y rubbish of a showdance though I wanted her to win that year over Matt Di Angelo!

Though it had disco elements I think it was a Paso/Tango hybrid.

The music killed it for me. I need a hero, *vomits*. And it was so quick the Paso/Tango hybrid looked messy, messy, messy!

At least Matt Di Angelo's showdance, though slightly rocky to be a cha-cha, was danced properly, even though there were several death-defying lifts in it.

I guess that's going to be his American Smooth rather than his freestyle? I can't imagine a Rock n Roll show dance to that! They're going for the melancholic angle again rather than an old school Smooth - I'm not sure if that's wise as it may not stand out against Chelsee's Rumba.

I'm wondering if Chelsee's will be like a similar disco-y fusion like this pro dance (around 50secs in) to One Night Only was. I'm kind of hoping it's not to that song though seeing as it's already been used by the pros for a showdance. Has Chelsee hinted it's that song on twitter or something?

I'm abit worried about Chelsee doing a Rumba (and for a final as well). I know her Latin is good but she's performed well in uptempo Laitin dances and the Rumba might be a tougher challenge for her because of the much slower control aspect that she hasn't really done in any of her previous dances. The Rumba is not just a hard dance for the guys (who usually do less in it) but hard for the girls too who (usually) decorate the whole thing. I just fear that if she wobbles or lacks any obvious control in those outreaching holds then the scores aren't gonna be great for her and the Rumba is a perfect dance to drop vital points on. But oh well, if she was in for a chance of winning she would want to prove she could dance this dance.

The A.Smooth is a good dance for Harry but the Salsa could be a bit dodge for Jason (if those are the dances for them).

Is it actually judges favourite though? I thought it was highest scoring dance, and that's why Harry is doing the QS?

ETA: You're right it is judges favourite
