Is there a single book that contains all the X-Men comics?

The X-Men comics have been going for decades, and there are multiple X-Men titles. You won't get "all the X-Men comics" in one volume.

Ok thank you. Is there something that would be good to get as a present for a big X Men comic fan? Like maybe a book containing the key comics or the few years? I know i'm clutching at straws here but it would make this person VERY happy

If they're a big X-Men comic fan do you know what they already have?

You can get X-men collections in Marvel Masterwork editions, Marvel Essentials editions and then as various soft and hardback collections of individual story arcs, basically...

Amazon, Travelling Man, Forbidden Planet, Gosh! and many, many more should be able to sort something out... If Amazon don't have it then try the others...

But, again, find out what they have, first, if they're already a big fan...

Gosh! are now in Soho, I'm fairly certain, and Forbidden Planet are pretty close, too... If you dunno what they have then the hardback Masterworks are a bit special; http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0...pf_rd_i=468294

Or just get them a voucher, lol

Do you know if this person has a favorite character or writer?

The Masterworks are the way to go! But if you need another option, I also suggest Wizard's X-Men Masterpiece Edition (Volume 1).

I thought about mentioning that one. I looked at it for myself a few years back and wasn't too impressed, though. I already had most of the content in other forms and the only major pull was the alternate ending to the Dark Phoenix saga.
Probably best for someone just starting out collecting.

I'd recommend the Marvel Essentials line. Okay they may be black & white but they are tremendous value for money and contain a large amount of issues.
