Wrong. You are not able to tell me what
my definition is, that is the height of presumptive arrogance on your part.
Forum members do not have to give praise. Saying things like "I do not like this act" or "I do not enjoy their singing" or even "they sound awful to my ears" is fine. These are subjective opinions.
Saying the same negative subjective opinion on 100 or 1000 threads, however, stinks of trying to ram it down fans of another act's throats, and as such, is deliberate baiting. I do not seek out positive threads on Misha just to post how much I dislike her voice or musical style on every one. I appreciate she has her fans, who are entitled to like her, support her, vote for her and buy her music if she makes any - and their opinion is as valid as mine. This is a realistic and sensible position.
But saying things like "this person is a disgusting obnoxious little madam with a god complex" or other such vile personal remarks is not fine, it is not acceptable, and I will call someone out for that kind of behaviour. It is hating on someone, just being nasty. There are cowards who hide behind their keyboards throwing abuse at TV personalities just because it makes them feel powerful. But actually it makes them look pathetic - whomever their "target" is.
Of course, someone can decide to be a constructive member of the community. If they are mature enough...
