DS and the Red Banner...

As someone who won't be watching tonight, but will probably be browsing other areas of the forum, I'd really appreciate it if DS could not ruin the result tonight by putting it in a red "breaking news" banner, as I recall them doing for the senior one. Anyone who is interested will either already know, or will actively want to avoid knowing. The rest won't really care, so it's not really informing anyone of anything useful. Any chance this will work?

Unfortunately DS will ignore your request.

I got shot down in flames a couple of years ago when they did the same for the X Factor. I said the same thing but it didnt sway.

I think you might just have to log off

This is an entertainment forum, you shouldn't be on here during the final of an entertainment show if you don't want to know the result.

No offence, but if you knew that they did it last time, why would you risk coming on here before knowing the result this time?

This is an entertainment news website. When someone wins a major reality show, it's one of the first things this site will post. It's not like the site posts spoilers before the results are public knowledge. Why should it censor public information for those who didn't watch live?

I always avoid DS if there's a result I don't want to see...

In all fairness, its useful if you have a mild interest - for me thats Strictly and I'm A Celeb, so I'm up to date without having to watch, and like someone else said, I knew I was watching football so would have to use catch-up, therefore I stayed away from here for a while.
