Ian Hyland - TV critic
Let's start again shall we... changa's thread seems to have disappeared.

I think he's hilarious. His scathing wit makes me swoon...

He's just tweeted that his thread got closed but he doesn't know why...

Any ideas?

Maybe someones had a sense of humour bypass.

I agree he is the wittiest of the critics without being too scathing. He is not offensive at all. **Waves to Ian.**

Now stop sucking up to him in case he is reading goldi

He is a little bit offensive, but nobody escapes his sarcasm and ascorbic humour so it's all balanced - and he's no worse than any other critic really - just funnier!

Ha, I want his job. Watching TV and criticising I do for free. Imagine if you got paid for it.

Someone on twitter actually dobbed him in to Claire@can. LOL

but there is a down side to his job, he must have to watch some awful programmes, sit through hours of dross to get a few good lines

Well they did but they said he'd joined DS specifically to start a thread to bitch... (which he didn't even)

Why would he do that for free when he gets paid for it in real life

OK for anyone that missed it... changa started a thread saying how funny Ian Hyland was ... there were a few replies, notably this one:-

"to be honest, he's a bit arrogant.
And I bet he goes trawling the internet every Monday to see what people have said about his column.
I prefer Gary Bushell"

Yes he's very arrogant and will never be as good as Baz Bamigboye or even
Charlie Catchpole. If he sharpened his claws a little bit he could be the next Dan Wootton
