I'd like Chelsee to win because I love her energy and the way she seems to surprise herself. When I first saw her at the begining of the series and she spoke about being 'single and ready to mingle' I rolled my eyes and just knew I wouldn't like her.
I love being pleasently surprised I think she is so sweet and a great dancer too.

Saying that, I like Harry too so I hope he comes a close second.

I want Chelsee to win. Not least because I find Pasha adorable and he has produced some excellent routines.

Harry, are you too posh to smile? What's your problem? I do want to love him but he looks terrified most of the time.

Jason? *shudders*
I've found Pasha even more adorable ever since the Shrek routine. Chelsee has had some great dances and her naiveté is adorable.

Harry - meh.

Chelsee as she's the better dancer. I do like Harry though. He's a sweet guy. Chelsee just edge's for me as she's such a lovely warm genuine angel.

Chelsee, and if she doesn't win I'd rather Jason won than Harry. He's not as capable technically but he can perform which to my mind Harry can't.

Gosh, I thought this should be more closely-fought than that! Like 51 vs 49%, but this?!

At most 500 would reply to this poll, a tiny sample of 500 to represent 12 million, so even minor sampling errors will cause very misleading projections.

The question posed does not offer a third option, so those with option C in mind will be tempted to choose between A and B and vote their opinion, where they never had any intention of voting for either A or B.

The central question is who intends to vote for whom, not a preference they will not carry out.

Many yougov or some other reputable poll to gauge public's support of political party is often done with a 'small' sample of 500 - 2000. In the last GE all the polls indicated a hung parliament and that was what we got.

Yes in a random sample which this forum isn't. The bookies have been right all along with Harry, Chelsea and Jason in that order. I'd prefer Harry I like natural over false but who cares the whole show has become a joke.

I am suprised at the gap between them to be frank.....its looking more like the lead that Kara had over Matt in the final weeks last year....but lets not jinx it.

I agree Buddy - I don't think he will automatically be in third place either.

I answered the way I did because the OP asked who we thought would win between Harry and Chelsee - I didn't automatically think that excluded Jason - I took it as a singular question - although I can see how that might come across.

I think Harry will win because he is lovely, personable, most importantly he can dance, just like Chelsee and Jason but he has the bigger fan base I think, and this is what I think will make the difference.

When I say I hope not, I don't mean that churlishly to Harry for the world - just that, sadly because of his pro partner only, I'd prefer Chelsee or Jason to win!
I agree with what you have said TQ (waves) which is why I added my comment. For the same reasons as you've given, I'd like them to finish 1st Chelsee, 2nd Jason and 3rd Harry, but I would be happy if the first two places were reversed!

That's true about the sample sizes, but it would be a representative sample and I'm not sure we would be considered a representative sample of the 10 million SCD viewers.

I'm still dithering - feel like the Minister of deFence.

I was a fixture in the Chelsee camp and then Harry did that wow QS. And he edged it for me in the semis. I'll just have to wait till Sat and hope for some kind of divine inspiration.

I hate the idea that one of them will be disappointed - either would be a worthy winner. Can't they just share it?
I feel much the same. I was also very much in the Chelsee camp, but Harry has grown on me a lot in the last month and I'm now genuinely on the fence when it comes to these two. Either of them winning would be fine by me but I'll be sorry for whoever doesn't.

True. Because this is a cyber forum there is a significant non-UK component who cannot vote. Taking their preferences onboard will distort actual voting patterns. Polls would do well to include an abstention or neutral option for those who do not vote in reality. If not given such an opt-out the non-combatants will take sides.

The bookies are offering 1/3 Harry, 11/4 Chelsee, implying Harry is 9 times as likely to win as Chelsee. DS forum says Chelsee is twice as likely to win as Harry.

Insane . Unprecedented.

As someone who wants Harry to win, I am actually worried that he is such a nailed on favourite, everywhere apart from on DS. Watching SCD in previous years I have always ended up supporting the underdog (usually the most improved dancer not the most natural). Being a favourite brings so much added pressure, and of course we have no clue about voting patterns.

I must admit- I think Harry and Brendan's* showdance may well clinch it for them, but then again the chemistry and energy of Chelsee and Brendan* is so endearing, and they are the best couple technically. I'm quite surprised that nobody thinks that Jason and Brendan* might surprise us

*Edging my bets in case one of Aliona, Pasha or Kristina falls tragically ill... also, it's just one of those years isn't it?
