They did originally include shredded meat and suet, which could be made out of beef.

Brrrrr - a cold wind off the sea can be freeeeeeezing.

The second tweet must be a joke Traditionally beef suet and meat was in mince pies - but no mince

It's not right, but you can buy mince pies all year round at Sainsbury's.

The Cadbury Creme Egg season gets longer and longer as time goes by as well.

Nothing's sacred anymore. Particularly not Christmas and Easter.

I sometimes like mince pies and then other times I go off them, I guess I have to been the mood for one but I don't always like mince pies.

I cannot even stand the smell of them! If I go home and my Mum is making some I have to leave.

On topic, seemingly Aaron likes mince pies.

Agree! I don't like the texture of the filling! I do like the pastry though! I tend to scoop out the insides and dump them and just eat the pastry! Yum!

Why not just buy an apple pie? Is the pastry not the same???

(I have never been close enough to a mince pie to verify)

Ooooh I love the apple pies and yes they are the same, but they aren't something I buy! Mince pies are everywhere at Xmas and rather than turning them down I just eat the good bit

Yeah.. I don't know if Aaron has been on here reading up on yesterday's discussion, but he's proceeded to call exactly 80% of Tweeters he's replied to so far tonight 'poppet'.

If he indeed has read up and responded accordingly, then that guy is on one serious WUM mission!
