According to the tweet below this tweeter was expecting Faye and Aaron to be attending tonight, however Aaron is looking forward to an early night with his princess.

@LloydDanielsUK is singing in Weston on wed.. Also @Aaronspoppets and @FayePalmer_BB live there, omg I would do anything to be there!

I don't think Aaron and Faye do live on the Grand Pier. It'd be worse than living in the BB house if they do.

I did recently see a programme about a couple (not Aaron and Faye) who bought a pier and converted it into a home (or was it a lifeboat house?). Either way, the place turned out to be a money pit, not surprisingly.

Don't worry, it would only be embarrassing if you posted the same thing on all three appreciation threads.

I really enjoyed them as well

Asterix even got a mention in an epsiode of US tv show Fringe
Yes the books are very witty - I love all the names of the characters, Cacofonix, Vitalstatistix etc and the way they bring modern day cultural references to the ancient world - they are very cleverly written.

I hate Asterix.

Also, like Aaron, I don't like Monty Python much.

Unlike Faye though, I detest Ricky Gervais and The Office.

And I don't like Little Britain.

They're all on my Xmas not-wished-for list.

If anybody was wondering what is on my Xmas wish list, I could PM them.

Any takers?

You want a PM?

That's another thing I hate btw . . . angling.

Whenever I go, I just sit there hoping I won't catch a fish.

I also loved Asterix books

Aww Gigi - stop worrying, pal. What's done is done and we are ALL guilty of over reacting and posting stuff we maybe shouldn't or wish we hadn't in hindsight.

It's no biggie - please dont think you cant post on the forums anymore. It would be a poorer place without you and I still need a fellow shy pal if we get a PA to go to

Oh I've just sent you a friend request on FB so best ye accept it ya nutter!

Susan xx

PS - I can hug for Scotland lol, so big ones from me
Oo, oo, oooh. me too.

And if you accept, you'll be my third friend after Aaron and Faye.

EDIT: Thinking about it, that might put you off. I really am quite normal though.

Thanks for the offer but I'll be retiring to Iceland, not Spain. Knowing my luck, by the time I get there, the climate will probably be the same.

Ooh I love Asterix the Gaul - I collected all the books - they were cult reading when I was a student - I have now donated them all to my nephew who absolutely loves them
Yes, me too. I even collected all the cardboard cutouts from the back of the Weetabix boxes.

Never ate so much Weetabix in my life

I noticed that this morning, but not sure if it was there before?

Also why has someone posted a pic of a shopping bag to Aaron's FB?
There might be the suggestion of a fuzzy pup peeping out, but even so....

(Oops, just remembered I don't post in here. Oh, what the hey? )

I don't remember Asterix being on the back of the Weetabix boxes. Mind you I had a sweet tooth as a kid - I loved Sugarpuffs and Golden Nuggets. Does anyone remember Klondike Pete, a gold prospector and his mule, Pardner, from the Golden Nuggets cereal boxes - I used to love reading the back of the box and collecting all the paraphenalia! This would have been in the ahem mid 70's I reckon!!

Didn't she say in that interview posted yesterday that she wanted a new coat?

Is it really supposed to be that simple, or is some reading between the lines required in cases like these?

It should be against the law to buy puppies for Christmas.
