It is Christmas morning over here in Oz 5 50am and well not snowing or cold and i have to start work at 7am but will be coming home to a barbecue tea . not where the above link is tho .. wishing but just so different weather wise . i am sure there are some lucky people over here who are spending the Christmas hols in a place simular any way enough rambling i hope you all have have a wonderful day

Got quite disappointed when he tweeted that he'd finished adding people and I couldn't help myself but say something in a tweet about how disappointed and unlucky I was (and how silly I felt) particularly as my sister and I tweeted within a minute of his putting the original tweet out there. (I thought he was going to add everyone who asked )

Next thing I know he's following me.

Guess I'll never know if it was because I'd said something (and guilt tripped him into it) or whether he was going to follow all along.

I have to be honest, it made me very happy and was a great way to start off Christmas.

I dont get it. Why would he or anyone want to follow hundreds of people that he doesnt know. I just dont understand that. What is the point?

I think he set himself an impossible task there. He had hundreds of requests within just a few minutes and it was inevitable that some would be missed. I imagine that's why he carried on and followed a few more people who had been disappointed when his 10 minutes was up Well done to you

I don't think there is a point really, he's just doing it to make people happy He's not really using twitter to keep in touch with people he actually knows anyway. I expect when he's on there he's mainly looking at his @mentions rather than the people in his timeline.

You dont need to know your fans.You just need to keep them happy and be in touch.It is called Public Relations.He cant do anything unless he has good PR.Dont forget some people are just trained to do that.Who spent money and voted for him to win BB?Did he know them?

I feel a bit sorry for the people who have been pleading for a follow since day one . . . but also can't help laughing at their renewed tone of desperation at having missed Aaron's Christmas offer.

I'm having a good day. We had our Christmas dinner yesterday and I'm just chilling out today trying to prepare myself mentally for a visit to the in-laws tomorrow.
