How do we know Faye hasn't her own money? I'm pretty sure she would of made some since leaving the house.

His relationship with Faye was a large part of his time in the house as was his relationship with Harry and in the first few weeks Mark and all those relationships brought out all the different aspects of Aaron's personality that we came to know and love and which ultimately led to his winning BB. No man is an island. I think in the final week Aaron was really lost as he didn't have anyone really to "bounce off " in his own words. I am an Aaron fan first and foremost but I really like Faye too and I also wish them both all the best for the future. I was upset that Faye wasn't in the house with Aaron in the final week . He really struggled that week and present gate was a symptom of this.

BIB and why I don't much bother with this thread anymore given its about Aaron and Faye and how fabulous faye is and how lucky aaron is. Its a shame imho.

When is a game show not a game show. We know that Aaron saw it as a game show and auditioned accordingly. We know that he approached Brian on opening night as though he were astride an invisible horse, then he entered the house to the reality of a reality game show and seemed unsure, until the cameo strut for Pamela. Then we saw Aaron taking things slowly/carefully. Skill or folly? But surviving the first test.

Did the 'I am in a game show' end with his entry into the house or with his exit as the last one out. The winner!!

Maybe somewhere in between. But when! Did Aaron have real strops and if so why for so long. If that was a game plan then he may have lost the plot. If that was real then he may have lost the plot (2)

We will never know how housemates think as they live in the house (the one thing not caught on camera or audio).

Whether or not big brother is as popular as it was as a television spectacle, or whether as many people tune in. Even how it is edited. The reality is the same this year as in all other years. The housemates are there 24/7.

The question is what changed Aaron, if he changed. Did he realise that there was a greater prize to be gained during his time in the house.

All housemates must ponder what will be the effect of being a BB housemate. But how much does that effect their behaviour in the house, and indeed when they leave?

It was interesting how he put on a different persona to get into the house. I think he was himself pretty much after stepping in there. Or as much as he could be. I know if I was out in a room with 11 strangers (cameras or no camera) I wouldn't be myself 100% completely immediately... not because I'm a fake or manipulative... but because among strangers none of us are... even among people we know but aren't on the same wavelength. I think we saw the real Aaron with the people he got close to in the house. I think Aaron tried to stay as truthful to himself as he could throughout... and wasn't scared of the judgement of those in or out of the house or allow it to change the way he was.

I agree it has ultimately stayed the same. What we saw of Aaron would have been different depending on the people he was in there with... I wonder if I would have liked him as much if he had been with a completely different set of people. I would like to think so. Going in there must be such a mix of pros and cons. You get to see how you cope in that unusual circumstance and have the experience so very few have had... but on the flipside can get pulled apart and judged based on snippets.... not a full picture.

Any appreciation thread, post BB, is going to want to discuss the news that emerges about that housemate. Faye features a lot in the posts because Faye features a lot in Aaron's post BB life.

We don't dictate what happens in his life so, therefore, we have little control over the subject matter of this thread

The extent to which Aaron owes his victory to Faye is, IMO, one of those hypotheticals that is pointless to speculate on. I'm sure he gained some votes from it and I'm sure he lost some votes from it. He may even have been so depressed without Faye's companionship that he may have walked halfway through. Who knows?

What I do know is that he proved himself to be a great housemate in his own right. A smart, funny, principled, decent guy who entertained us all and became a worthy winner.

I'm a Faye fan. I wanted her to win. But Aaron beat her fair and square. That money's all his, no argument from me.

Someone tweeted that they were in the pub with them on Christmas day in Weston as well, so I would think it's safe to assume that it was Christmas in Weston this year

Hallelujah this is how I feel. This is the Aaron thread.If people think Faye is fabulous and Aaron blessed that's fine, but keep it mostly for the Faye thread where it rightfully belongs.Not everyone has that view on the Aaron AT and that should be respected.

Faye is a nice girl but far from perfect In fact she could be hard work, not to mention her family and its unfair to her for Aaron or anyone else to put her on a pedestal.She could never live up to it.She is an ordinary human being not some flawless goddess.
Aaron loves her that's obvious and that's fine with me.I am glad he is happy.I happen to feel she is lucky to have him also It applies both ways. I hope the relationship lasts and enriches both of them.
Ultimately Imo Aarons son comes first as his flesh and blood.Relationships come and go but your kids are always your kids.
In the same vein I hope Faye reconciles with her sister for the same reasons.Now can we put this thing to bed and respect each others differing opinions please.

If people are put off posting here, then I agree that is a huge shame Discussion about Aaron and Faye is inevitable, but this is Aaron's thread and anyone who likes him should feel able to join in with the discussion, whatever their views.

I must admit I am getting tired of the bickering between some of the posters on this thread - everyone is entitled to their own opinion and should be able to discuss Aaron on his own or Aaron and Faye as they please IMO and respect each other's views - IMO a healthy debate if fine - there is no need to get heated and aggressive. The main thing is this is the Aaron appreciation thread so you have to like Aaron to post on it .

I think what CC means Julian is the emphasis being on Faye and her perceived perfection and how lucky Aaron is the problem not mentions of Faye.That kind of talk is for the Faye AT not here.
Of course Faye will be mentioned as she lives with Aaron.It just wont of the same adoring nature and may sometimes be critical Some of us like her but are not fans per-se.
I just want Faye fans to respect this and realise we don't all feel the same about faye as in fandom on the Aaron AT,

Everyone likes her, she seems a sweet girl and she is hard to dislike tbf.We are just not as into her as her fans and maybe have more objective views.
When she is criticized on the Mf, we all defend her and will continue to do so.

Surely Aaron being appreciated is the only essential criteria on this thread? Where and what people choose to post or not is their own choice. So just to get this straight? This thread is the pro Aaron bash she who must not be named thread, while the other two are open season? Hmmmm! that seems fair enough.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and each should be respected. However when criticism is unjustified, no matter who that criticism is aimed at, then you should expect to be pulled up for it. I could easily sit here and point the finger at Aaron as some have done at " " (phew almost mentioned her name) but that would also be wrong to do so. I'm at a loss at the apparent need or the want that some seem to have to be critical of " " (strange we see next to none towards Aaron?). Look the bare fact is they were a couple in the BB house & they still are now, out of it. They both appear to be blisstfully happy together, so here's a novel idea? Let them live their lives the way they see fit & stop the forensic's of who might be spending where and when. BTW I thought most women wanted equality in the modern world. It seems reading from this thread many are only too happy to see " " as the second class citizen in this relationship. Each to their own I suppose.
