I never went through a religious phase myself although I have friends who have at some points in their lives. As you say I think Aaron is her number one priority above all else at this point in time and I can't say I blame her

I have always been spiritually inclined from childhood up, its a way of thinking and being rather than a religious belief and I still am today.I have never changed.My OH is not that way inclined but I go my own way and have never changed for anyone in life except myself.We accommodate our differences as people and respect each other.
It got me through a serious illness and I believe ones life should mean something and benefit others in some way.If Faye is emotional and deep thinking, that's her nature and who she is.She wont change.I like that about her that; she stated how individuality was important to her.
Aaron is similar.He is an individual and has a bit of depth to him.I hope they enjoy their trip, Ferdie will love it but his Dad probably more.Now we know why they were posing in front of the Mickey Mouse monstrosity.

Footy and I have always had a bit of a love-hate relationship. Just about more love than hate. There never seems to be a lack of passion, either way. Never easy on the heart either!

One of my oldest friends is a vicar in the CoE and over the past few years I have been invited to his ordination and and other such ceremonies. I myself am an atheist but I am only too happy to attend these occasions as I wouldn't want our differing opinions on the matter of religion to spoil our friendship

About 10 years ago I was over at a friends' house on Boxing Day. I found out that the daughter of my friend's eldest brother had been taken to hospital with some virus or other a couple of days before.
When I got back home I found out that Arsenal had lost that day's game and it occurred to me that football was sumpremely irrelevant compared to that little girl's health. I still get a bit annoyed when they lose but I don't shout and scream about it any more.
By the way the little girl got better and last year celebrated her 16th birthday

Schools start tommorrow.I dont think they will be there long.Some people go there for the day on the Euro Star.2 days are about enough,it is only 3 parks and it shouldnt be busy now.
I suppose Ferdi has been before and I cant see him missing lots of school.
