I really struggled with it tonight though, especially the sight of the Great Titted Trout eating bully beef and baked beans with her mouth open - disgusting bint!

Also unappreciating my cat Blue who brought a young rat into the house about 11 o'clock last night. And let go of it (there's a rat in me kitchen, what am I gonna do...) Luckily I managed to catch it and turf it outside.

Alli - I agree with you about The Voice, it's very underwhelming. I'm enjoying the BGT semi-finals much more.

Oh, I love the Voice but last week just didn't grab me. And sorry, I hate BGT/X Factor, I dislike anything involving Simon Cowell/ritual humiliation, but enjoy, hope your fave wins.

I like The Voice too but quite enjoyed last week - moreso than the week before. It had already crossed my mind that maybe this was more to do with my own mood than the show content. Or it could be the song choices.

Watched BGT for first time and then caught up with Only Boys Aloud via i-player. A quick unappreciate that they could have gone out on Sunday when 100+ prospective voters were enjoying my friend's eldest daughter's wedding (including half a local choir!) Ritual humiliation was low to middling last night but a definite unappreciate of Simon Cowell's 'going for the public vote' a la x-factor.

Also unappreciating the changeable weather and the resulting cold symptoms am struggling against - yesterday I was freezing when I went out ... then boiling hot a few hours later!

Oh and I've got massive withdrawal symptoms from Inspector Montalbano . Even bigger withdrawal symptoms from the views from his house.
Sorry about bill Alli you could almost have got a pair of russell and bromley shoes for that, No seriously I think if you expalin the circumstances, O2 might let you off some of the bill. I know thay have in similar circumstances before

and Yyd re the weather and your cold, it really cant decide can it ! am sitting here in layers and have already taken off and put on layers , I suppose it is one way to ensure you keep all your joints mobile.

and Ann Widdecome, SOOO glad I missed that one, who is it who thinks she makes good tele, that shrill voice alone can pierce a thousand ear drums.

But appreciating the internet and amazon found exactly the shoes I wanted having tried them on but not liked the colour in John Lewis, they were £30 cheaper on amazon

Found the perfect way to watch the Voice... (via delayed start...). Only watch about 30 seconds of each song, then some of the comments (not all)... and none of the filler.....
That way the show is over in about 20 mins max...

Not enjoying BGT as I also hate Simon Cowell things but did accidently catch a couple of the acts on Mondays show (including those Latin dancers)... I hear they think they are good enough to be SCD pros... (can I unappreciate that thought?)

Yes they were brilliant and got through to Saturday's final - and the girl is only 15!

I'm not a huge Cowell fan either but there are some pretty good contestants this year - and David Walliams makes it more enjoyable. (I couldn't stand Little Britain btw). Alesha is more bearable too, she is much more suited to BGT than Strictly.

Yes - I've only seen last night's but I really liked the way he seems to champion the underdogs. When the other three were mean to that 17 yr old xylophonist he got up and danced, encouraging the audience applause. He also shot SC down in flames when he took a snipe at the German eagle. (Having said that, there was a distinct Springtime for Hitler moment I had until his tail became visible!!!)

And - in the thread spirit - can I unappreciate Amanda Holden who seems to feel she has to be bitchier this year.

You can unappreciate Amanda Holden just for being Amanda Holden. I do .

I avoid BGT too but have a hubby and daughter that like it so I do catch snippets occasionally.

I'm still loving The Voice. I know that in lots of ways it's similar to the X Factor but I prefer it because

a) It doesn't have the ritual humiliation of the terrible singers, who have been put on the stage by the producers purely for people to laugh at (all auditionees have to sing for a backstage team first- not everyone goes on to audition for the judges)

b) The Voice doesn't line Cowells pockets .

Unappreciating bloody Lulu being on Piers Morgan's Life Stories tonight. God knows how ITV managed to fit both egos into the studio at the same time.

And drinking game anyone?

One drink every time she says "I"

Two drinks every time she says "me"

Three drinks if she boasts about her fabulous dancing on Strictly and blames Brendan for them getting voted off.

Not that I'll be watching, I'll be watching Have I got News for You.....

I need to unappreciate the horrible woman who called my beautiful barn 'a shed' on Escape To The Country today

Ok, barns aren't to everyone's taste, but calling it a shed was not necessary Wouldn't have wanted her to live there anyway

Apparently it's next week. Not that I'll be watching, I can't afford to repair the TV when I put my foot through her face.
