This is sooo true! When daughter was away on her Y6 residential son kept on about how much he missed her. Within 5 minutes of her return they were arguing!!

I must also appreciate that my mum is now halfway through her chemotherapy and, other than losing her hair, has had no ill effects from it.
Hooray! (((hugs)))

I think that i'm one of the few people in the country that is looking forward to The Voice final this weekend although i'm hoping that Bo doesn't win. I don't mind her voice but I find both her and Danny to be musically pretentious. I've also found Jessie J to be incredibly annoying whereas I liked her before the show started... and the fact that she hasn't made Vince cover up those pits is quite frankly criminal.
Have to confess we haven't been watching it since the live shows started. Was thinking of watching the final but if there's badgers involved.. eeeuuuwww

Now that it's June we should be hearing in the next couple of weeks which pro dancers are taking part in scd this year... keeping my fingers crossed that Pasha is back.
I think Pasha's fairly safe, but I fear for Robin, Katya and Natalie.

Back OT:
Didn't get to sleep till 1am, wanted a nap when I came home from work, but am having to stay awake to ferry daughter to her social life. All BLulu's fault of course.

That's is brilliant to hear! Great news.

I must unappreciate work at the moment. It is supposed to be the quieter time of year and I'm supposed to have time to prepare for the autumn but so far I think I have been making more hours than before Xmas to get everything done. The effort is appreciated by the big bosses though, judging from the payrise I just got offered.

Am currently reliving SYTYCD US season 8 on Dutch TV. The geisha dance is still so friggin awesome. I bloody love Sonya Tayeh. Must try and catch up with season 9 online this weekend.

Fab news about your Mum - hope she goes from strength to strength.

Personally, I'm still enjoying the Voice, and especially Danny. I could listen to him talk all day long - I'm a sucker for an Irish accent (hence the Tristan love as well ..:swoon

I hope Pasha is back, as well as Katya and Natalie - they are my two favourite female pros. Wouldn't be sorry to say goodbye to Robin though.

He was really funny behind the presenters at the end.

Unsure about the results but think the best 3 were at the end.

He tweeted it, and Holly also mentioned it on twitter as well.

Forgot to unappreciate Holly in her plether.

On the other hand, thought JJ carried hers well.

Can I just unappreciate Holly full stop. She really is as thick as pig sh!t isn't she? and after hanging out in the Voice forum, I really don't want to hear anything from the men about how we're all shallow, bitter jellus hatahs, seeing as a vast majority of men seemed to devote an inordinate amount of time to talking about her sodding boobs.

I really hadn't noticed the lack of brain cells on DOI but bless her she was out of her depth on the Voice with all the closed questions and being excited at the wrong place.

Even with that I find her less objectionable than Tess and her smutty references and wonky boobs

Just sad it has all finished and SCD still has a way to go

BB is stale and old for me I dont follow it anymore

Talking of Holly being out of her depth, can I un/appreciate the comletely gormless Tess who has contributed to the BBC getting 2000 complaints about their coverage of the River pageant on Sunday, lol.

The powers that be should really know by now that she can't cope without cue cards or autocue. Totally unable to think on her feet or anywhere else
