so we have had the Pashadoble getting the 40 this year and the AT as well so do we have now all the dances have been marked as 40 and who danced them?

I cannot recall all of them but i am sure that someone here can add more (i used a bit of wiki so not sure how certain the below is)

American Smooth Ali Bastian & Brian Fortuna
Argentine Tango Jason Donovan & Kristina Rihanoff
Cha Cha ChaLisa Snowdon & Brendan Cole
Charleston Chris Hollins & Ola Jordan
Foxtrot Lisa Snowdon & Brendan Cole
Rachel Stevens & Vincent Simone
Jive Jill Halfpenny & Darren Bennett
Paso Doble Chelsee Healey & Pasha Kovalev
QuickstepLisa Snowdon & Brendan Cole
Ricky Whittle & Natalie Lowe
Pamela Stephenson & James Jordan
SalsaMark Ramprakash & Karen Hardy
Viennese Waltz Ali Bastian & Brian Fortuna
Pamela Stephenson & James Jordan
WaltzMatt Di Angelo & Flavia Cacace

ShowdanceRicky Whittle & Natalie Lowe

so the dances that yet have to score a perfect 40 are:

Rumba - the closest to 40 was Rachel Stevens & Vincent Simone
Kara Tointon & Artem Chigvintsev with 39 points

Samba - the closest to 40 was Zoe Ball & Ian Waite
Matt Baker & Aliona Vilani with 38 points

Tango - The closest to 40 was Rachel Stevens & Vincent Simone with 39 points

I am amazed we havent had a 40 for a ballroom Tango yet.

Rachel and Kara really should have had that elusive extra point for their Rumba's

What's confusing? This thread is about all the current records for all the dances, not a discussion of Saturday's scores.

A number of the pros forecast perfect scores for Ian's and Jade's tango the year before last - unfortunately Jade was injured so the speculation remained just that.

Of other tango routines I can only think that Ian and Zoe deserved 40 - that was a superb dance.

I know I'me being a pedant, but I think you'll find Ali and Brian got a 50 for their AS (5 judges). Chris and Ola got a 50 for their Charleston as well I think (although I didn't watch the final that year so can't be sure!).Can't remember if Ricky and Natalie got a 50 for their QS or not?

No pendant at all ...those scores have not been included in the list but you are right because Darcey was there too

So, if I've read it correctly, Lisa Snowdon received three "perfect" scores, Pamela Stephenson received two.. but Jill and Alesha (generally considered two of the best and most memorable celebrity contestants we have had on Strictly) only recieved one between them?
It's no wonder people accuse the judges of bias.

I don't think I'll find anything, I didn't start the thread so I'm not sure why you're directing this comment to me.

The judges are as biased as the public is, to think otherwise would be naive. However, the public vote usually ends up mirroring the judges' vote when it comes to the final.

And Kara , the most sublime Rumba I have ever seen didnt get 40 .
Jill Alesha and Kara were in my opinion far far better than some of those ont he list .

Not picky with Chelsee on Sat. She made a mistake in her paso.

Not just Harry, but also Kara and Alesha! And some of that anger should be directed at Len as well for costing the aforementioned winners perfect scores as well!

I personally think Craig does it for attention to be honest . His accent , he mannerism , his prancing, his holding off on a ten all seem to me to be attention seeking behaviour .

That's the strangest rationale I've read for a long time.

really ? How come ? which point do you find strange ? I think alot of Craigs mannerism are attention seeking ,as is his need to be seen as picky and so very knowledgable .Why is that strange .?
It may not be your opinion but it is mine . I find Craig extremely irritating and attention seeking and full of his own importance .

Because they all behave, at various times, in exactly the same way with the possible exception of Alesha who usually just tells them they've done well and not to worry too much.

You still havent said why my rationale of thinking Craig is being picky for attention is so strange to you .
And as a matter of fact I find all three attention seeking, but all three doing it doesnt make Craig less so .

Yes I have, because each of the judges does exactly the same thing with the possible exception of Alesha who, although I love her as a contestant and as a person, I discount as a judge outside of being able to express an opinion on when she took part in SCD.

I don't find Craig to be particularly picky or more picky than either Len or Bruno are on occasions. It's also entirely within his nature as a choreographer to find the small faults in an otherwise decent performance. Every choreographer I've either danced for or interviewed or watched while working does the same thing.

I find Craig extremely irritating and attention seeking and full of his own importance .
Then that's why you find fault with him.
