Just had a look at the Strictly winner poll on the Reality TV page where we are asked to vote for who we want to win. It currently stands as this:

Very different to our polls in the forum. Do we think this is a more realistic look at who viewers may vote for?

Where is the Reality TV page? Any hyperlink? How many votes so far?

Unless the voting sample approximates the Strictly voting population it has no bearing on the result.

Not sure how many have voted so far but its been up for several hours.

Not exactly Chelsee's best picture...

I can easily believe that that poll is closer to the voting than ours. I'm surprised that Jason isn't higher. But, yeah, Harry's got it in the bag. I'm just happy that Chelsee got to the final and I get to see all her dances (even the disco funky showdance, maybe).

Harry might mess up on Saturday though. Having 4 dances to remember with the added pressure of Blackpool could make all the difference between the 3. It could change voters minds easily.

Anyway, it just cements my initial resignation that Harry will win this final. Still won't give up voting for Chelsee as long as Pasha doesn't mess up the choreography of the two new dances he had to do this Saturday...

Hmm dancing fansites and Strictly fan sites all lean towards Chelsee, more populist sites go for Harry. Sorry Jason fans he is always third. Anyone, anywhere can vote online but not on the actual show days. You never know what will happen on the night

I have no idea why polling inside this particular forum has been so spectacularly successful in pinpointing past winners during the final week.

One possible reason is that this forum attracts the most fanatical and obsessive Strictly supporters across the spectrum. They are the keenest in voting in opinion polls as opposed to lurking, just as their counterparts nationwide are keenest in phone voting.

One fan who votes with orgasmic rhythm 50 times (yes they exist, maybe not so many this year) will outweigh 49 casual viewers who calmly vote once.

It will be interesting to see if it changes now that its been brought to our attention......I didnt know it existed so I have just been to vote....for Chelsee.

Chelsee looks like a different girl now to the one in the picture....in a good way.

I remembered her looking like that in the promo shot and I just thought, "This can't be serious! It's the lion from Judy Garland's Wizard of Oz!"

Great. There is now less than 10% difference between Chelsee and Harry.

I just voted for Chelsee. I know that most people think that Harry has this in the bag, but you never know.A lot of things can happen on that night.

I'm not quite sure why Chelsee has a stronger fanbase here than Harry Judd?? Yes she's a great little dancer but Harry is just as good and I always think it's just that wee bit harder for a male celebrity.

Certainly, they all have pros and cons. Pasha creates routines with better storytelling and if he's dressed as Shrek that will be a huge trigger for people to remember. Yet she has a lot of speed and needs a lot of stamina for those set of dances.

Harry has got routines that will need to be clean and draw people in within the large space. Three dances all with lifts might not be the most ideal if people want to see more dancing in the final as opposed to tricks.

Jason has to sell his dances but needs to be restrained with it. He has dances that will need more effort to perfect but is in a position of nothing to lose more than the other two.

This poll is accessible by clicking TV or Reality TV button on the DS top bar. This looks like a navigation aid for TV skimmers flitting from show to show. If they are not regular Strictly viewers it is doubtful if they feel committed enough to go to the trouble of repeatedly dialing an engaged number, or multiple voting for one celeb.

It's a terrible choice compared to the boys;it shows none of the style of her presentation in the dances.

I'm a keen Harry fan and vote every week but I've given DS a fairly wide berth because I don't like some of the comments about Harry (or Chelsee or Jason)

This side of the board can be scary but the appreciation area is nice and fluffy.

I do not understand why people think Harry will walk it (other cliches are available). As someone who wants Harry to win, I actually think that Chelsee will win and it's not just because of the support for her on this forum. However I know that a lot of Chelsee fans think Harry will win and vice versa.
