Whats the point of having the strickest judge give his score first. Soon as he gives a 10 you know your going to see a 40.

It would be much more interesting to see his score last.

It's not a given. There have been some dances Craig scored as a 10 that Len gave a lower score to e.g. Austin's paso, Kara's AS, Alesha's waltz.

Because it's usually nicer to get the negative out of the way first than have it at the end - it might have a rub on effect on viewers that the dancers aren't all that great; if Bruno is ever mean to a dance he does it in a way that is humorous so people don't mind it, lol.

He used to, in series 1. The producers must have felt it worked better with Bruno's generous score at the end, and thus switched their seats.

Well i think they should switch them again for the final, specially when you are expecting a few maximums. They would be a bit more anticipation with craig last to reveal his score. Even if he gives a 9 it would be much more interesting to see the scores come out 10 10 10 9.

There would be more of a crescendo that way, soon as they see his 10 first the celebrations start they dont even take notice of the other judges scores.

Hmm... in last year's final Len gave Kara a 7 for her AS; all the other judges gave her 10. In series 7 Len gave Alesha 9 when all the other 3 gave her 10. Len tends to be the party pooper in finals, so moving Craig to Bruno's seat won't address that.

Here's a pic of the panel when Craig was in Bruno's seat and vice versa. It looks... wrong.
