The fact she very much made the song her own deserves to be appreciated, but I'm just not a big fan of her tone when it comes to songs like this. It'd probably come across better in her own material later down the line, which ought to be better suited to her, but for a song like this I think her voice, while technically very good, just sounds too harsh.
