That's a tight margin! I will say that over the course of the night, I ended up ranking the two equally

FRANKIE COCOZZA!

So massive congratulations to Pete, who we knew had won either way, but as Justin said earlier this is a bit of an amazing turnaround considering that Frankie is such an unpopular act in real life, and was bottom two twice near the beginning of this game.

But also mega well done to James who was consistently praised by everyone.

Results and all that shiz coming right up!

...well I'll be damned.

FRANKIE WON THE RISK FACTOR.

I am like, stunned! If I hadn't changed my vote, the result would be different right now!

Evidently someone has divided by 0 somewhere.

Oh my god! That's a huge shocker! But Frankie has been just amazing in this show and no one else should try and mentor him again!

Congrats Pete! I loved Frankie's final song, a thoroughly well deserved win!

Maybe I should start following these games, they seem much wilder than the real X Factor.

And someone better tell Mr Blonde!

Wow quite shocked. Well done Frankie. Very much deserved. Commiserations James, also would've been a worthy contestant. Well done again on Pete for top 2

Can I say thanks to Alex firstly, for taking me on board, and all the judges for making this series so enjoyable.

But you love James

I actually voted for James because that song was amazing but Frankie is a worthy winner too

I'm stunned still. Congrats Pete, you really are the best mentor on this site. You just pulled off the impossible. After 2 bottom 2 appearances (one at near elimination), you managed to make a winner out of Frankie Cokecozza.

Week 1 - Around the World

Sophie Habibas 173 8.24%
James Michael 146 6.95%
Rhythmix 143 6.81%
Alisha Bennett 142 6.76%
Katie Waissel 134 6.38%
Kitty Brucknell 122 5.81%
Joe McElderry 115 5.48%
Austin Drage 111 5.29%
2 Shoes 111 5.29%
Daniel DeBourg 108 5.14%
Frankie Cocozza 100 4.76%
Amelia Lily 92 4.38%
Roberta Howett 91 4.33%
G4 91 4.33%
Marcus Collins 87 4.14%
The Unconventionals 80 3.81%

The Risk 71 3.38%
Brenda Edwards 65 3.10%
Olly Murs 62 2.95%
Jonjo Kerr 56 2.67%

Sophie and James started off at the top with Rhythmix not far behind due to their awesome Israeli song! Justin had the worst luck having three in the bottom 4, and it was those three he lost. It kept switching between the Groups and the Overs but there were some Unconventionals fans out there who saved them!

I really don't know what to say without making myself sound like an idiot!

I suppose I've done quite well on DS games generally, but this - getting both boys to the top 2, and one being FRANKIE - is my proudest achievement in my just over a year since I joined. Overall I think all 5 of my boys have been my best mentoring ever and I've loved it.

Thanks to Dylan, Justin, Bex and not forgetting Zak for being great judges, and to all the viewers who voted for either boy.

Alex, this game and its themes is CRAZY at times but its genuinely the best game around so thank you so much for hosting it again - you've been brilliant. And to Aliyah for helping with all those crazy themes lol!

I've not done a proper XF game for 6 months and have had a difficult year in RL (which made me drop out of my last game in summer), so at the risk of sounding a saddo this really means a lot to me. Thanks again everyone.

Week 2 - An Instrumental Choice

Sophie Habibas 130 8.50%
James Michael 125 8.17%
Roberta Howett 103 6.73%
Amelia Lily 101 6.60%
Austin Drage 98 6.41%
Rhythmix 96 6.27%
Katie Waissel 92 6.01%
Daniel DeBourg 92 6.01%
Joe McElderry 91 5.95%
Marcus Collins 90 5.88%
Kitty Brucknell 85 5.56%
Frankie Cocozza 85 5.56%
The Risk 79 5.16%
Alisha Bennett 74 4.84%

G4 67 4.38%
The Unconventionals 65 4.25%
2 Shoes 57 3.73%

This time it was the Groups turn at the bottom, and Zak unfortunately lost 2 Shoes followed by G4. Sophie and James retained their 1 and 2 spots, followed by some other Girls and Boys...and Rhythmix! The Risk gained just enough from last week to avoid the sing off.
