Has the Military Wives thread been close

It seems to have shut down. I do hope so because it was getting seriously out of hand and over emotional on a subject that people have polarised opinions on. How do I tell when a thread is closed?

There will be a padlock symbol on it, and nowhere to write a reply. Having looked at it, I think it isn't locked, there just haven't been any posts on it. Have a look at page 2/3 of the forum, you'll find the last version of the Non-App thread (I really want to make a comparison to a snake shedding skins but it just isn't coming!) which was locked as too long.

thanks for that. But it is denying me access to the thread - any idea why that would be?

You've been a very naughty girl? I don't know - I just looked and it's still there - I can access it, and there is still a reply box open

That was my immediate thought but I haven't! I did complain about a post (first time ever) which is claiming that if you like the choir you are supporting violence - could that be the reason?

No; I've alerted the mods about various posts, and haven't been prevented from looking at the thread. I haven't a baldy notion, in other words!
