She'll be up against The Queen of Angst Alex Parks...she always releases her work at the happiest time of the year to give the impression she's a credible artist.....

Don't forget Sir Cliff does the same.

Oh... she hasn't While I can see where she's coming from (make as much money by any means possible while still in the public eye), surely this will do more damage than good. I have no idea why people view releasing a single as the thing to do once they've become famous

Anyway, now she's gone and done it, good luck to her!

Two Endemol creations up against each other. We must all support the more credible product ... COME ON NADIA!!!

alex parks is soo last year! I do think alex has a good voice but she doesnt seem to have released any good songs. I think nadia has a better chance of getting to no. 1 purely on her popularity/

Look for the single marked down to 99p in the bargain bin in Woolworths.

Robbie Williams can barely shift singles these days (it only takes a few thousand to get to No.1 now), what hope has another novelty artist whose only claim to fame is she used to be a man and was on Big Brother? She be trounced by the Tweenies, or the Balamory mob, or whoever happens to be famous with 6 year olds at the moment.

Personally I think me and Moo-Moo Bass should do a duet.

Well there you go, all the 6 year olds who would buy Nadia's record if the Cheeky Girls don't bring a single out will see the nice bright Ballamory CD cover and buy that instead.

How can record companies look at someone like Nadia or Emma and actually throw money down the drain like that? Is it for tax loss purposes??

You wont be taking that view when you & Mememe bring out your single.

Don't know whether I'd buy Nadia's single, but I thought that the Sun's description of her was offensive. 'Sex-swop Portuguese bruiser' ... 'Real name George..' Yet again the quality of this rag confirms that I wouldn't use it even if I had run out of andrex.

I agree it was probably meant offensively, but when you disect it, it's all true really, isn't it. She is Portuguese, had a sex swap, was called George, and - having slapped Jason with that heavy hook of hers - she is a bit of a big bruiser.

We should be grateful the Sun isn't calling her a "pervert" or somehow insinuating she shouldn't be allowed round children... you see, we've got something even worse than the Sun or the Star up here in Scotland, it's called the Scottish Daily Record and to them about 90% of the population counts as a pervert.

I don't think so (hope would probably be a better word). The BB5 contestants are rapidly getting forgotten about.

Although it doesn't take much to get a no 1 single, and talent is definately not a requirement (listening to the current effort - just sampling someone elses song is OK).

Getting back to the point. I have a feeling that the x-factor contestants will be trying to get the christmas number one. IF they do release a single around then they will be at no.1 as the show will drive the sales along with it. Then you have the Rachel Steven's, Westlife etc. which will have more selling power then an ex-BB contestant. I know Mr Blobby got to no.1, but he was "current news" whereas Nadia is just "old news now".

Why do some people wish reality stars luck with their singles?

Good luck? Why? You haven't even heard it yet.
It might be shit.
