Which name did you prefer? Obviously they're not going to change it, just wondering what name people preferred. I prefer Little mix tbh as obviously you can have nicknames like Little muffins where as you can't really have rhythmuffins etc.

I think I prefer Rhythmix to be honest, thought Little Mix sounded ridiculous to start with but I've gotten used to it now and I don't think I could imagine them as Rhythmix now.

I do not like the name, it has left them open to all sorts of fun being poked at it. Little Fix, Food Mix, Cake Mix etc etc so not the best name at all.


I think the original name was way better sadly they could not use it, and I do not think they knew or I certainly did not til that comedian (think it was him) mentioned it on Xtra Factor, or was it JLS? someone did. Next thing I knew was when the brown stuff hit the fan in the media over it.

It sounded more like a band name, and Little Mix just sounds like something you go and buy off the sweet counter.


Agree. Too late now I do not expect them to alter it, once is bad enough, and the single is out with that name on it, so they will have to stick with it. You have to smile really that no one could come up with something better than Little Mix though, there must be thousands of names that would have been far better.

Rhythmix sounds much better. The only good thing about the name Little Mix is that its easier to spell.

Little Mix is more marketable...they're all pretty small, and it's cuter. I actually think the name change helped and made them more accessible to younger girls in a way.

I prefer Rhythmix but either way I think they're going to be huge
