Do you think Melanie Amaro will break the UK Market?

She will probably perform on the UK show, and will release music in the charts. Im not too sure whether she could sell over here though, cause if Jennifer Hudson struggles then Melanie could. However she could get really fantastic material and that could sell. Will never really know until we know the direction she will be going in

Thoughts guys ?

I think if she cracks america it'll cascade into the rest of the world. Jennifer never had the same type of platform, she never won idol and her acting success wasn't necessarily going to translate into music success. I don't know if Melanie has star quality though I kind of see her flopping like Jordan Sparks. She doesnt really have the superstar attitude

Depends on the material. At the moment she is just copying past artists and not even changing the arrangements. If she gets some good material then there is little doubt that she is a serious singer that could compete with anyone.
