It seems she was designated red hair to be different.

some of the outfits should not have worked with her hair... like the electric blue tango dress with Matt, but yeah she could just get away with all sorts!

She also looked absolutely stunning for the rumba that year (I mean she always looks beautiful but sometimes she looks extra amazing!)

she always seemed 'different' to me...not as obviously 'out there' as say kristina or ola....but still darn sexy!!

I think the big difference with Aliona is that she always looks good even on the way to rehearsals. Ola can look really plain without makeup and I think I have seen Kristina not looking very glamorous.

That's a good idea. I'd love to see her replace Karen Hardy (or Ian - have gone off him a bit this year).

Exactly but I'm sure she's had enough of strictly and their unfairness towards her.. And also she hasn't gotten the recognition that she deserved while being at strictly with her choreography which by the way I think should win an award and I'm not exaggerating. I love her but I'm glad she's moving away from strictly.. But I would love her to carry on dancing believe it or not you don't need to be on strictly to have a career on dance which also I think is turning more into panto than actual dancing. I'll truly miss her she changed something last year which so needed changing.
