Without doubt. Loving the show tonight. I was not keen on either of Marcus songs. I thought Chris was poor on the first song but great on the second song. I thought Melanie gave a superb vocal on both but would like to see something more original from her. I thought Josh was good on the first song and sensational on the 2nd song which was the performance of the night. I would like to see Josh win, Chris runner up and Melanie Third.

i really want josh to win but i wouldnt be too unhappy if anyone of those won to be honest ive enjoyed the x factor usa so much more than our one its nice that they actually go for talent over novelty acts shame uk x factor doesnt do that anymore the best singers from ours were shayne leona and alexandra the standard this year has been crap (apart from amelia)

I'd be amazed if Marcus made the final, there's no way Josh or Melanie shouldn't be there so it would have to be at the expense of Chris.

1st Josh, 2nd Melanie, 3rd Chris is a safe bet imo but who knows!

I think we are running out of talent. The problem is they are doing the show every year. Perhaps if they did it every 2 years more people would come through.

I would also add Rhydian to your list - I think he was probably one of the best vocal performers X factor UK as had. Sadly because he was not mainstream pop not everyone got him.

Its probably the only time I have been really angry watching these shows lol. To this day I can not see how he did not win by a land slide.

I think he was one of the contestants that really did have a bad deal with the editing. At the start they made him a joke with some silly song choices but he turned it around when he sang You Raise Me Up. Everybody that sings have done a version of that song but I think his was the best, He followed up with Somewhere and it was sheer class.
I was lucky enough to see him live on his tour at Birmingham Symphony Hall and it was honestly the best concert I have ever been too. He is doing well in theatre at the moment and have seen him in both his shows.

I think he will have a career in the west end. The main stream pop scene was never going to be his route. I see Shayne Ward is now in the west end doing well. Someone was on here the other night saying how he had failed but its not all about the charts. Making it in the West End is a major feat.

defintly i agree with that its a poisoned chalice to win the x factor and to have to go along with what the dark lord cowell says you have to do im glad shayne has done good for himself and rhydian at least people get to see how good they really are rather than covering other peoples songs

Surely Marcus goes. There is nothing certain in these shows but it has to be surely....

I disagree. We're not running out of talent, their just putting through contestants who are particularly diverse or distinctive.

There are so many talented people who get to Boot Camp, but are never seen or heard of, because they are to generic or non-fame-hungry to ever be seen.

Fingers Crossed Marcus is out tonight, he's been crap since about week 3, definitely overstayed his welcome.
