Pretty much sums up British film though - both TV and cinema would rather push a known Hollywood flop than a British film filed with British stars.

If it's any good can't see the US (or Australia for that matter) airing it on a Saturday night especially. I suspect a few countries would air it as 2 x 2hrs.
P.S. And god, isn't TV crap tonight. Indeed Outnumbered, Downton Abbey and Mrs Browns Boys about the only things worth watching over the next few days.
