d) Find ITV+1

e) Find BBC Three at 11:05pm

f) Find iPlayer or ITV Player

g) Find something a little less stressful for them than watching TV

A solid performance from BBC1 and that Outnumbered rating is very good which must have benefited from the EE lead-out, and speaking of EE that rating isn't the best it has to be said. But the scheduling of it was ridiculous IMO - 20.45?? Why? Lapland also was much higher than I was expecting.

ITV1 held up well factoring out Piers. The Cube got 5.2m inc. +1. That's the best its rated in ages, and with no help from TXF that does surprise me. Text Santa held up as well as could be expected over the 2 and a half hours.

Eastenders omnibus on Tuesday afternoon on BBC1. Downton Abbey is repeated on ITV1 on New Year's Day at 3.45pm.

Is downton also not repeated tomorrow?

Whatever happens at 9pm tonight, ITV has suffered one defeat already today - BBC2 beat them to the Christmas No 1 single. And outselling all the other Top 12 singles put together - a trouncing for the TXF winners.

well I was born in 84, I just saw them preform a couple of times on TV, and then one day was reminded of them, when I found out Roxy from EE used to be in it. Girls in uniform will do it for me everytime, why do you think I watch Underbelly, those Aussie cops have great uniforms.

Some good ratings around last night. Bit surprised at EastEnders only being 29 minutes. I wonder how many minutes we'll get tonight: probably either well under 60, or a bit over 60.

Thanks to Mossy2103 for the heads up about EE rerun on at 11:05pm on BBC3, I much prefer to watch DA in HD than a sub par +1 channel. EE looks fine on BBC3 anyway, I am also about to watch an episode of DW for the first time in many years.

If you didn't watch last night, you didn't miss that much. About two moments were important to the main storyline at the moment, the rest was frankly filler. Last night's episode probably could have been condensed into the episodes earlier in the week. While it was a nice treat to have a Saturday EE, the episode wasn't there because the storyline needed it

Decent rating for filler. I bet C5 wished they got 1.32m at 7pm every Saturday. IIRC NCIS repeats do about half of that usually


Did it's job. Cheap 3 hours of TV but respectable rating


Judge Little Mix in a year or two's time. If they get themselves established then not being Christmas Number 1 2011 won't matter at all
