Chris Hollins is reporting live from Blackpool on Breakfast, Fri am.

In the first transmission, at 6.50am, the ballroom was full of juvenile dancers (some dance school, from Preston, I think) who were doing some kind of rehearsal.

There was also some ancient black-and-white film, about the history of ballroom dancing at Blackpool, and 'Come Dancing'.

Chris also did a live interview with Lance Ellington, one of Dave Arch's singers, who was talking about the music he likes, what he does, and his own forthcoming single.

There may be further broadcasts during Breakfast this morning.

...Chelsee and Pasha were on at 7.50am. Jason and Harry are coming up at 8.50am.

The juvenile dancers (who have been dancing, with breaks, for the past 2 hours) are the Fever Dance company from Preston. These are the current British Champions for Latin Formation Dancing and hold the 2 Junior British Championship titles.

Team Chasha were not dancing. It was just a bleary-eyed interview with Chris Hollins.

Best bit IMO was when Chelsee declared in her inimitable style that taking part in the final will be "summat I will always remember".

Meanwhile, the others are on the coach travelling to Blackpool
