Girl simply know how hormons of gays and girls work. Its what brought her into bottom 2 instead of matt di angelo with woobie meltdown. By the way, she's thinking he will win not who she wants to win, thats a different thing.

And i think Alesha is a good judge. Her judging is constructive and she has a paadle range from 2 to 10 which is more than Bruno and len have ever done.

Agree... and a little childish if you ask me.

If you take out Nancy, Lulu's CCC and Edwina, that range would be 6 to 10...

Where in the posters comments did she exhort others to vote for Jason?”

In that case, can we also tar Len with the 'unprofessional' brush please. He stated on Chris Evans' show this morning that Jason should make the final two. No-one has mentioned that, yet you are all very happy to jump on Alesha for comments she has made.

Ultimately, who wins is dependant on who the public votes for. It would be great if people voted for the best dancer, yet sadly it seems that people vote based on what may or may not have been said on various programmes. Its a shame that people can't think for themselves rather than be influenced by what goes on in the media.

Alesha was asked an opinion , she gave her opinion and is entitled to it ,she didnt say Jason had no chance at any stage

sooo...what she actually said was 'I think it will be between Chelsee and Harry. Chelsee is a brilliant dancer but I think the ladies have a soft spot for Harry'

fair enough statement if you ask me

I'm a Jason fan and I didn't find anything wrong with what Alesha said.

Five pages of slagging Alesha off for something she didn't say.

Indeed.

All gone a bit quiet on this thread now that it transpires that she wasn't attempting to use Jedi mind-control to sway the public vote by decrying Jase as a hopeless case, eh?

Nope. It would be 3 to 10. Having said that, why won't you take everything into account?

Well, why let reality get in the way of self-righteous indignation?

She did actually say what the papers said she said except the Jason has no chance bit, ok that's fair enough but you gotta admit that's what she implied because she picked Harry and Chelsee and left Jason out, to me that show's she doesn't hold high hopes for Jason's chances.

When asked she should have said something impartial, she is a judge after all, how difficult is it just say all three are great and let the best person win on the night.

And Im writing as a person who is torn and im going to wait until they have danced the first two dances 2moro night and then see who I want to vote for.

Well it's a bit late for some!

In retrospect it was an ill-advised comment. It must be best for judges to appear unbiased.

On the GN show Alesha was lovely. She has such an engaging personality. She needs a late night TV chat show role. Something where she can be herself.

Dang i missed it.

Was her whole interview on about SCD or other things as well?

Alesha only gave below 5 to Nancy... so, I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion, if you take Nancy alone out of the equation. And she gave 5 to only Edwina and Lulu (week 1). Everyone else got 6s; Audley, who most would agree was pretty weak throughout, and Russell never got below 6 from Alesha.

If we're taking all series into account, Len and Bruno have both given as low as 3 (to Quentin/Hazel) - but for Len 3 is an outlier score, as is the 2 from Alesha.

But let's just take the series Alesha has actually been in.

Alesha has given 9 scores below 5 in 3 series.

Meanwhile, Len, just two below 5 in the last 3 series.

And Bruno, 17 times in the last 3 series.

I'll give you that her 'score range' is more than Len - but not Bruno. Not that Len, Bruno or Alesha award very low scores particularly often...

Even more odd if he did. Chelsee and Harry have more 10s, more points and have never featured in the bottom two. His criteria for "Should be there" can't mean on show performance or on what we know of the voting.

On the other hand on Len and Craig's marks Jason would be first and they are split on who would be second. But why would he go as far as saying Jason should be top two on his marks when means one of Harry and Chelsee shouldn''t be there - and on his marks its Harry who shouln't be top two. Even on his marks, there's not enough in it to make such a clear distinction. It suggests he just likes Jason more than the youngsters - which in turn suggests his marks may have followed - he would do far better to say nothing.

I realise it's from the Daily Wail but apparently Alesha will say on the Graham Norton show tonight that Jason has no hope of winning the final. I'll be watching to see exactly what she says, but has she opened her gob once too often? Surely a judge shouldn't be allowed to make such biased comments?”

I think Alesha has access to the voting figures.

"Balanced" judgements are made before critical threads are posted surely? Strikes me that it gave a good opportunity for some very unwarranted Alesha bashing. As far as I can see she gave a fair and BALANCED opinion.

I watched the show and Alesha said no such thing .She was asked by Graham who she thought would win and said simply " I think it will be between Chelsee and Harry but the girls seem to like Harry "
So if the thread had waited till we all heard what Alesha had actually said then it would have been more factual .She never at any stage said Jason had no hope of winning .

Three contestants in a show, she singles out two as potential winners. Whilst she didn't blatantly state Jason wouldn't win, she shouldn't have said what she did,on a show that would be transmitted the night before the final. In my opinion it was ungracious and as a judge she should have been more circumspect.

Why not? She is only stating the obvious, and giving her opinion, same as Arlene Phillips publically backed Jason, Alex said she thinks Harry will win it, Robbie basically implied he thinks it's between Harry and Chelsee...

None of them have any say over how the voting goes, so why shouldn't they give their opinion same as everyone else?
