1. Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday
2. The Pogues & Kirsty McColl - Fairytale Of New York
3. Bing Crosby & David Bowie - Little Drummer Boy

It was difficult narrowing it down to three though, I adore Christmas music.

Thank you for suggesting Dana in particular! Your other 2 are quite original. I heard the Ramones the other day, probably this song.

My top 3 include Dana, Slade and protentially Paul McCartney's Wonderful Christmastime.

Stop the Cavalry - Jona Lewie
Wonderful Christmastime - Paul McCartney
Mary's Boy Child/Oh My Lord - Boney M

Lonely This Christmas by Mud very narrowly misses out.

As Dana's It's Gonna Be a Cold Cold Christmas is so under-rated, I requested it in 3 radio shows during this past week. It was worth the forward facility on my texts and the pay-as-you-go!

Have a lovely Christmas everyone who listens to it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LinW9kHGdJs

(Apologies for the ad at the beginning though).

See you again Boxing Day. Missing you already!

I like the Phil Spector-era Christmas songs, so I'll go for:

1) Darlene Love - Baby Please Come Home
2) Darlene Love - Marshmallow World
3) The Ronettes - Sleigh Ride

The sleighs etc for the first 20 seconds before the music really gets underway really does have me believe it is the morning of 25th December!

Thankfully nobody has suggested my probable all-time worst Christmas song: Frosty the Snowman.
