10yrs gone today, One of the greatest guitarists Scotland has ever produced with a style unmatched by anyone.
Always found time for his fans and it was my pleasure to have known him.

In a Big Country your dreams stay with you.

Rest in Peace Big Man-Never Forgotten.

Saw them at Hammersmith Palais in 1983. One of the best gigs ever.

R.I.P Stuart

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xa3wQrd0dXY

If you could feel how I must feel
The winds of quiet change
If you could see what I must see
Still hidden in the rain
But when the thunder rolls
It comes and covers up my soul

And you will take my hand
And be with me in wonderland
I am an honest man
I need the love of you
I am a working man
I feel the winter too

If you could hear what I must hear
Then nothing would replace
The fifty years of sweat and tears
That never left a trace
But when I look at you
I see you feel the same way too

And you will take my hand
And be with me in wonderland
I am an honest man
I need the love of you
I am a working man
I feel the winter too

You still remember other days
When every head was high
I watched that pride be torn apart
Beneath a darker sky
With innocence within ourselves
We sing the same old song

And you will take my hand
And make believe it's wonderland
I need the love of you
I am a working man
I feel the winter too
I am an honest man
I need the love of you
I am a working man
I feel the winter too

Used to play Steeltown to death in my teens, preferred it to The Crossing personally. So sad how he seemed to go downhill in his last years - RIP.

Nice, well-deserved thread.

My brother and myself were only talking about Stuart last weekend, unaware of this anniversary.

R.I.P. Stuart, gone much too soon.

I remember seeing them way back in the 90's at the Liverpool Empire with my brother. They were awesome. I remember it being more of an accoustic gig and the version of 'chance' they did was brilliant. Couldn't believe it when he took his own life - gutted I was. The world lost a legend that day. Thank you for the wonderful music you left behind that will live on forever. RIP Stuart.

Stuart Adamson - His name will never die. This time will be forever.

Where were you when I ran aground
Where were you when I turned it around
Where were you when they burned me down...

10 years? I didn't realise Stuart had died so long ago. I liked most Big Country songs, especially Fields of Fire, Chance, Just a Shadow and One Great Thing.
