What are you buying your pet for Xmas ?
Do you bother ?
My dogs love their toys, so they have each got two dog toys under the tree all wrapped up. They adore pulling the paper off themselves, and i love to watch them. |

![]() ![]() I had to smuggle the toys into the house as they know whats in the carrier bag. So while they were occupied i had to run them into the dining room and shut the door so they couldn't find them. Are we quite mad

I have got Amber a little packet of various toys with catnip - bet she won't even sniff them though!
I don't know why we bother ![]() Give her a carrier bag and she is happy as Larry. |

My shih tzu puppy (7 months) Alfie has got 2 new dishes for his food and water as he has outgrown the ones we got him when he was really small. I suppose it's the equivalent of getting a child clothes!! I'll also get him a new toy and maybe some form of edible something or other.

![]() ![]() I did consider getting the dogs a turkey jumbone each, but i think my mum is doing the honours this year, and they don't want two. I think i will get them a rawhide chew as well. They love those, and are good for their teeth. |

Two fresh butchers large knuckle bones. Dogs love them, my dogs would be embarrassed if I bought them "toys".

I really can't afford much of anything for them this year. BUT I will be buying some yummy meats from the butchers. Food is their life.
Yes they are animals (Dog and Cat) But they are also family. To think of them as "just animals"... May as well see them as inanimate objects then. /sarcasm |

Soft toy, he loves them. After Bunny became one-eared bun, then hard-of-hearing-legless-bun and finally just tum-bun - I thought a replacement was in order.
