Got the two dogs a few new toys and some treats. I love seeing them rip open their presents on Christmas morning. It's the best bit of the day for me, as they get so excited. I get little bits throughout the year, when I can afford them, and save them up.

I also do the parrots cage out with all new toys, (after he's gone to bed in his night time cage) on Christmas Eve. His little face the next morning is so funny, as he wants to play with them all but he doesn't know what to do first. He keeps going in and out of his cage all day, just to have a look. It keeps him off my shoulder for the day, until the novelty wears off for him.

I am getting my cat a pink fleecy blanket for Christmas.

Our Charlie loves his 'cat in the bag' so much it's difficult to think of something for him. Perhaps some of his favourite 'treat' food, chunky chicken from Tesco.

Yep, I'm with you. My two cats will get a clip round the ear because they will, no doubt, get in the way when I am opening my presents.

He has a stocking which will have a few things, mini space hopper, treats, etc wrapped up for Xmas morning. It isnt so full this year as many things he has sniffed out and I have given in and given them to him and as he has been poorly recently he has been spolit so it is basically Xmas everyday anyway.

going to get my cat a shop bought stocking,but then again it just has the same treats in it as I get her all year round,Dreamies.I have seen normal everyday bones that I get for my dog at £2 shoot up in price to £5 because the shop has put a red bow on it. The best present my little dog gets on Christmas morning is a walk in the park. I usually go to the pet shop at holiday times and put extra pet food into a large red bin ,it is food for the animal shelters.I might make my own stockings with their names on them and just put treats on them as it would be cheaper.hate the way shops rip you off at christmas

Our cat has a new collar, bag of toys, a stocking, pack of Dreamies and some extra special cat food. Our dog has to settle with just a stocking

Made up large Xmas cracker shaped parcels for my two ... consisting of a Willow scratch box each, dreamies, 3 pouches of Applaws each <xmas treat because they`re 90p+ a pouch !!> packet of Whiskas temptations and a santa hat each.

Will tell them Xmas morning that they can only eat the treats if they wear their santa hats

thats so sweetmy wee cat doesnt seem to mind wearing hats,she is very tolerant

Gourmet-branded cat food and Dreamies because she loves them both!

I got the cats a cat tunnel thingy with various toys attatched to it. They like hiding in boxes and leaping out at each other (or the poor unsuspecting dog) so hopefully it'll keep them amused.

The dog's getting a couple of cheap squeaky teddy bears. It's pointless spending much since he destroys them so fast. He watched me wrap them and got all excited this afternoon, so I've had to hide them or they wouldn't even make it to Christmas day.

I've been thinking. Might get a new bed for my dog and lots of treats and some meat from the Butchers. A catnip toy and lots of little cat treats for the cat.
Both will get a bit of Turkey as well.

Tabby has got a new toy, a packet of cat toys, a large lamb legbone that the butcher removed from our lamb for xmas dinner that i kept for her, and a pot of chicken livers for her xmas dinner, along with which she'll get no end of meat scraps and since we r having turkey, lamb, duck, and gammon she'll be extremely well fed

Sometimes people give them away on Freecycle. Might be worth joining your local one if you're not already a member.

Otherwise it is worth looking on Gumtree for a good condition 2nd hand one for sale.

Ebay usually has some reasonably priced ones, as does Amazon.

I bought one years ago (way before the internet existed) at a local Pedigree Cat Show -- may be worth looking at the GCCF website to see when there are any Cat Shows in your locality. They are usually held about twice or three times a year in large towns.

I have bought lots of things from Zooplus and although stuff comes from Munich the postage charge is great and the delivery is very quick.

I got my two girls a combat play tunnel and they really love it, best buy I ever made, some new toys. Today I ordered some sponge balls which they like to carry about and a cat play cube hopefully they will like it but you never know, and some honeysuckle cat toys for them.

They are a good company -- I buy a lot of cat food from them, as they sell the good quality high protein low carb German makes. Shipping is free if you spend over a certain amount
(£19 I think??) but I guess free shipping probably does not apply to heavy items like scratching posts, just to cat food.
