Nothing worrying about, 'going down Kalinda's path'....is their.
For me....it hadn't even entered my Mind, that scenario.

No nothing wrong with it at all, sorry I watch too many soaps so sometimes it's and automatic assumtion thats where a story would go especially innCoronation Street. No offence intended. I like Kalinda as she is a mixed up character who they can do anything with

Btw, I believe it's her hair.

"But the big reveal at the panel was Margulies wears a wig as Alicia, and she ensured that was written into her contract before she took the role. For the pilot, the wig was flown in from London - where it was made - and delivered to Vancouver, where first episode was shot, all at a very hefty cost.
The reason? According to Zucker, she wanted to look completely different from Nurse Carol Hathaway, the role she played on "ER" for 135 episodes."

Umm no, it is an ongoing soap opera I suppose the only thing it's comparable to is Days of Ours Lives etc but maybe not as cheesy (no offence again). That show in particular show likes to do some contraversial stories concerning its gay characters eg a recent one where a 16 year old female couple wanted to get married but you can't get married in the UK at 16 without parental consent so that caused problems etc.

She's advertising a hair shampoo. The hair doesn't look any different, so it must be a good wig.

Are you asking about The Good Wife? If so, this show about a law firm in Chicago is actually filmed in New York. There are tax breaks for filming in the state, but another factor was that the lead actress, JM, lives in the city. In fact, a good part of the cast lives in and around the tri-state area.

I think I remember reading somewhere that JM took the part on condition that it was filmed in NYC but accepted a lower fee that she would normally expect for the first 3 seasons. If it's renewed again then her fee goes up considerably.

Loads of US TV shows aren't filmed in the cities they are set. CSI:NY is almost entirely shot in LA and they just visit NYC for a few days each season to do the exterior filming that they cannot fake back home.

It says in a post further up that the first episode was shot in Vancouver so I just assumed that's where the whole series was shot

That's pretty common with some pilots. I believe it has to do with budget. House filmed its pilot in Vancouver.

Liked tonight's episode it had a lot going on and was less Aleisha centric oh and they brought back the litigation guy haven't seen him for a while. Thought Will was being turned but he showed he was loyal. Looking forward to next week but come on Aleisha and Kalinda make up already

"We're out of corners"

Great episode last night, with the Pro Bono Alicia had {got it pretty quickly} and the Tug of War over kalinda....Eli was never going to Win....."An espresso machine would be nice"

And Will's dilemma with Celeste, who I don't like....she's a Pain.

And I saw Imani first.

Liked the ep but a very odd scene with Celeste, Peter and Will. Celeste came across as slightly unhinged and I didn't really get her motive. If she wants Will onside surely winding him up is the wrong way to go.

Loved Diane and the legal aid stuff, the new legal aid guy will be a good addition.

I think she was trying to say look how awkward it is you working/dating Peter's esxtranged wife so why dont you come and work for me?

I wonder if there are any secrets we don't yet know about Kalinda?

Its great how the Kalinda mystery has become almost the main hook that keeps many of us fascinated with the show. I don't even know whether the writers have decided yet what her great secret is, as they can make it be anything they want at this stage, I guess. But we know she has had a change of name, and we now know that Eli has recognised her from somewhere, presumably a long time ago, and can't put his finger on it yet.
Celeste looks potential bunny boiler material to me.

Yes that is so true, the writers probably think it's the Aleisha/Will forbidden love thing but Kalinda is far more interesting. Does Eli know she is the woman Peter slept with? I just hope that's not where he knows her from. So she changed her name and used to live in Canada that.s the story so far.

Also so glad Peters mum turned up again I love Jens gran (sorry Dawsons Creek link being used lol)

So if there weren't a mystery, many of you wouldn't be fascinated with the series?

If it was ever revealed why she changed her name? I know she slept with Peter but wasn't that a reward for helping her? So why was the name change necessary? I don't see Kalinda doing something like that on a whim.

But I may have dozed off at a pivotal point and missed... what?

No, we don't know why she changed her name yet. Some dark secret. My mind keeps imagining she was an infamous child murderer or something. Eli would be the one most likely to have a recollection of it if she'd been splashed over the newspapers at some stage.
