Humax music Intermittent on 999

Also when browsing thru the Media..
Disc about 70% full as always but not noticed so prominently before..
Equally bad on HDMI and Optical Out.
Certainly not planning any remedial tests as Mute solves the problem.
Anyone else?

Confirm sound problem - I don't suppose it bothers most people as this channel is not required viewing and most of their 'news' is post event
Whether the HD is relevant or not mine (1TB) is just 15% full.

Sound is just the same using the TV speakers (hdmi connection) as AV amp connected by s/pdif.

AFAICT, it's not a Humax issue - I think that's how it's broadcast. I'm sure I've heard it glitching on a different STB (I was trying itvplayer - I haven't been to 999 for anything else!).

I think there was a time when the Humax didn't play any music on 999 at all. That's maybe what's changed?

Cheers,
David.

Its been glitching like that for ages on my Panasonic and also on my Humax as well.

You are correct about the Humax not always playing the music - on v15 firmware you had to mute and then un-mute channel 999 before the music played.

Are you referring to this problem?

I obviously did inadvertently start a new Thread Chris as i never searched for 'Audio glitches '..Seemingly no one at Freesat read your issue then..
because it is still a really poor intro to anyone who goes to that Top Page for help..
Perhaps my phraseology will catch someone's eye there..

Is it just me, but why on earth does this problem actually matter? As the sound on all other real broadcasts works, why bother? Not even sure I should have bothered to read this thread at all... or even post something on it... oh dear.....

I recall that some said such when a certain H. helped himsef to the Balkans..
Would you settle for MONO sopund on the grounds that ..certainly on my Laptop.. there is only ONE speaker ?
