It's such a tricky thing to get right and for a live show too. Good on them for trying but most people just end up feeling nauseous!

1 Do you have a 3D TV?

2 If yes then you need to set it to 3D mode and that will sort the picture out.

*Posted from another thread - I went to the cinema to watch 3D Strictly!*

The cinema was pretty much packed so a big turnout. It was great to be surrounded by fellow Strictly fans with lots of cheering, clapping and booing in the cinema throughout the show. I sat in the second row and had no problems seeing all the action across the whole screen. I did at times feel like I was getting a bit of a headache from it and removed my glasses briefly which helped.

The 3D perspective occurs in wide shots as opposed to the close ups of people and they appear to be very small against the backdrop of the set. It's difficult to distinguish facial expressions in 3D and the judges all looked lop-sided to the right! It certainly made for a different viewing experience but I wouldn't rush back again next year to watch it in 3D. Maybe if I had sat more further back it would have made a difference in viewing?

I was at the cinema as well, and we had a very subdued crowd, apart from me

I thought the show was great in 3D.

You could really see the size of Blackpool ballroom floor and how well all the finalists covered the floor space.

People that I chatted to, had also seemed to have come from miles and miles away, just like I had.
