Looks like the release date has now been confirmed. 8th November it is. Having waited so long, I'll believe it when the DVD is in my sweaty palms.

Mind you, if HMV, Amazon and Play all have it available to pre-order, all should be okay now. Shouldn't it?

The Play price looks a bargain

Thanks for the info Megson.

I do hope this is better than "A Vision Of A Dying Embrace." One thing that does make me slightly warey is the fact that it's made in Poland again. Dying embrace was basically a late night Polish TV rock programme that turned up at the concert with a couple of cameramen and recorded the concert for their show. I hope this one isn't the same guys again, although saying that, the set does consist of the last three albums, so as long as they have a good sound guy this time they should be ok. I think I'll wait for your review on this one megson before I preorder. Talking of play.com, one of my DT DVDs should be arriving on Monday, I got the shipping notification email the other day.

Well, I've pre-ordered my copy from Play. Expect a review around mid-end November providing it arrives on time

Let me know what you think of the DT DVD - that''s another I want to get but when I saw that Anathema had got a release date for theirs, they took priority for this month.

Cheers.

I have just pre-ordered my copy from Play.com (£10.99).

I received my Dream Theater - 'Image and Words: 5 years in a LIVEtime' 2DVD set a week or so ago and have managed to find time to watch it all the way through once. In total, it's nearly 4 hours running time. I'm very impressed with how it has been put together, consisting of chunks of concerts, videos and studio / camcorder footage. My favourite part is where they play with members of other bands, especially the jam with Steve Howe. Also there is a running audio commentary on the third audio channel for the length of both DVDs, even during the videos. This is a must buy for any DT fan.

I am now waiting for Live at the Budokan DVD which is due for release at the end of Novemeber. I also have this pre-ordered at play.com.

Great stuff! Oh dear - my wallet is really taking a hammering. Just before Xmas too - Can't wait for the Anathema DVD to arrive, then November will be Dream Theater month for me!

By the time Xmas arrives, there'll be plenty of music DVDs in the house to save watching the endless Yuletide repeats!

Damn, I was expecting this to arrive anyday this week. I just logged on to my play.com account and see that the release date has been put back to 22/11. I'm sure this also happened to Dream Theater - Live at the Budokan last month too.

Nothing in the world of Anathema runs smoothly these days. Let's hope it's worth the wait!

The release date according to play.com has been put back until 6th December. I'm starting to wonder if we will receive this before Christmas now

According to play.com the release date has been put back and it is now due for release on 17/01/2005. A couple of days ago it was 'status: released and awaiting stock.' Has the release date officially been put back by the label or is it just play.com thats having problems obtaining stock?

Hmm, according to their website, it is still due for release four weeks ago!
