Judging it on the dancing alone - Chelsea was the weakest tonight
I don't really have any favourites and am judging it by the dancing. I assumed that Jason would be the weaker of the three dancers tonight. I've been completely baffled by his marks all series, but tonight he surprised me. Harry is always pretty good, but I feel most of his dancing is pretty clinical, and I've not been wowed by anything he's done.
I assumed Chelsea would be the clear winner tonight, and storm it – I feel she is the more 'natural' dancer of the three. But I after a slightly sloppy jive, and a very dodgy show dance, she was surprisingly the weaker of the three tonight, I felt. Anyone else judging it solely on the dancing tonight? Anyone else surprised by anything tonight? |

I am judging it only on the dancing too which has made it interesting:
I had it: 1st dance: 1st - Harry 2nd - Chelsee 3rd - Jason 2nd dance: 1st - Jason 2nd - Chelsee 3rd - Harry So that makes it a 3 way tie! |

I'm not basing it just on tonight though, otherwise why bother having 14 weeks of it beforehand?
I still had her in second tonight - I can't get past Jason's faces |

No and No. I'm voting on how I've found them to be all the way through the series, and that's what most will do. They're all so nervous tonight you have to make some allowances for that.

I would not write her off yet, as a Jason supporter I don't expect him to go through despite his stupendous showdance

Jason 2. Harry 3. Chelsee separating Harry and Chelsee's showdances based purely on the fact that Harry's was never a near disaster, whereas I thought Chelsee was going to fall over or out of a lift several times. I'm not judging tonight solely on the dancing, but I haven't voted for Chelsee. I thought her Jive was disappointing tonight, but so was Jason's tango. Really it's Harry & Aliona and Kristina who get my votes, the latter for being by far the most clever pro tonight. |

Well, I never really watch SCD in full, but got a chance to watch it in its entirety tonight.
As a neutral there are a few things I think people are overlooking: 1) Aliona is the best professional dancer of the remaining 3 and it shows. Harry can't help but look good with all that gymnastics going on. 2) Chelsea had the most difficult task in the show dance, having to perform all the acrobatics herself whilst Harry and Jason had a bit of a free ride with a few lifts. Chelsea wasn't perfect by along way, but I think people need to appreciate the fact she put herself out there and performed the most difficult routine of the 3. No way did Jason disserve the 4 10's for the 2nd performance! |

Jason didn't deserve 4 10s, but Kristina was clever, and Pasha sadly wasn't for that dance. |

To be honest, I don't think the difficulty of the routine should be something taken into consideration given the importance of the dance, though it wasn't Chelsee's fault, and she did put in a lot of effort. I think it was a mistake by Pasha to give her such difficult choreography. Yes, the showdance is about 'wow' factor, but as Kristina showed, it doesn't have to be the most difficult choreography in the world or have a million lifts to prove it. Sometimes playing it slightly safe is better than being risky and failing.
Jason didn't deserve 4 10s, but Kristina was clever, and Pasha sadly wasn't for that dance. Completely agree. |

I don't know why it is when they come to showdances they always seem to forget the ballroom entirely and then get obsessed by masses of lifts they haven't done before. |
