just a theory...
tyring to get my head around choice of Verity over Lloyd. Now Simon knows Lemar has sold records and lasted, and Ruben has sold records and lasted. He knows the Michelle 'feelsorryfactor' doesn't last. Sooooooooooooooo, put Verity through to get the 'feelsorryfactor' sales, and give Lloyd a record deal anyway ?!........ and go for the long term sales away from the reality TV tag ?.........

re: article on husband - a country singer - interesting.....yes that would be here genre.....

anyway back to work now....

all your messages make fascinating reading while I am at work - thanks !

Rowetta must win, talent and stage presence must prevail (Michelle had a great voice (doesn't touch Rowetta) but unfortunately not an ounce of stage presence, and at the end of the day if the product is not appealing to look at then it won't sell. These are the cold hard facts...

Think maybe that clears up the 'talentless' jibe nicely. Now if only people could put aside their dislike of her because she got picked and Lloyd didn't. At least she didn't resort to begging unlike some other people.

Oh, and came across this on an Eva Cassidy web site

I would just like to say how much Eva's voice moves me, there are few female vocalist that can make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and Eva is one of them, the other is a relativly unknown singer called Verity Keays that I'm sure at some stage will be more well known.

This was posted in August this year, way before X-factor even started

I think Verity is a very bright cookie....she's been around long enough to realise that the 'ahhh' factor i very big with some sectors of the public, especially the saturday night TV audience...good ploy babe - keep the 'ickle me is sad' going and grab the votes.
